I had no problem here & staff was friendly & helpful. It's a tiring job, I get it, & what I always do when approaching anyone at a customer service counter is start with a simple greeting followed by a sincere "And how you are doing today?" It goes a long way.
A parking lot that's smaller than my patience REAL PARKING LOT NEEDED Welcome to a land where playing musical chairs with cars is an everyday sport! This place is as snug as a clown car at the circus. You're more likely to find a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow than an open parking spot here. With room for just a few vehicles, it's like a VIP club where the entrance criteria is apparently having a car small enough to park on a postage stamp. If you manage to secure a spot, you better cancel your appointments for the day. The "exit strategy" here is akin to the plot of a long and complicated movie - you're in for quite a ride. Pack your snacks, maybe a tent, and get ready for a prolonged stakeout. But don't let the mini parking saga deter you. Once you've completed the vehicular equivalent of an obstacle race, the rest of the experience is as smooth as butter sliding down a hot pancake. If parking lots were only an afterthought for you, then this place might just transform that notion, because here the parking lot is the main event. Bravo!
I needed to send back stuff that I got. The only option that I had it’s through the USPS. I never been to the USPS before and . it was such an awful experience I explained to the man that it was my first time there and he was so rude rolled his eyes didn’t explain what I need to do and how , and when I asked the same question twice he said I don’t know what do you want from me with anger. He made me feel really awful and lost. I didn’t expect it and wasn’t sure why he is not patience with a first timer . I know his name but just if the company care enough I would share with them to leave him a little respect at least.
Mahbub! Unhelpful, disrespectful, and unprofessional man. My sister and I kindly waited in line, approached the counter and were inquiring about stamps for wedding invitations. A lady so kind helped us by telling us to wait 15 minutes until her colleague, Mahbub get some for us from the back. Considering there was a long line to be fair, we respectfully waited. All of a sudden he turned to his colleague in front of us and everyone and said he is not willing to go back there for only for stamps. Never have I left any bad review nor witnessed such customer service. When we confronted him about his unfairness, he simply refused service and said he is not going to follow through with our request. This was humiliating and disrespectful. Not to mention these were specific stamps for wedding invitations. Good job Mahbub for your lack of work ethics. Maybe you should work somewhere where you feel less miserable. Don’t ever take it out on customers, especially kind ones.
Parcel drop was broken and when getting assistance, I was told “people pay $1000 to use this window and there’s a sign saying parcel drop is broken.” Literally no sign and getting belittled to simply drop off a package is a huge red flag. It’s been 8 hours and they still haven’t scanned my package in their system. It only says a label was created. I’m a small business owner worried that the woman’s attitude is compromising my shipping simply because I asked for help and didn’t have a $1k per month membership for this holy window. I’m in shock with how they run this location. Thank God for the kind janitor who assisted me. He was an angel.
I’m not sure why all the bad reviews. My experience has always been positive at this post office. The staff is very friendly and always do their best to accommodate customers in the fastest and most efficient manner. They also try to save you money by offering different shipping options. Keep up the good work
This is one of but better post office locations around LA. I frequent many, at least 15-20 from all over and this is one of the ones I don't dread going to. They actually give a receipt on prepaid packages if you wait in line and don't scream in your face in front of a full lobby of people waiting like the location on Beverly next to The Grove. People complaining about this location don't know how great this spot is compared to others.
Saturdays close at 4pm instead of 430. When I brought this up to them they told me times don’t matter “we close when we need to”.
The manager at this location belittles his staff. He is always hovering over them and is rude to not only them but the customers. I cringe every time I go in there. He's inpatient and rude and I drive out of my way to avoid this location. Everyone else there, besides the manager, an Indian gentleman, have been warm and lovely and very helpful
They are supposed to be 24 Hours, but the past few months they have been sporadically and unpredictably locking their doors around 7pm, making it difficult to pick up mail unless I am nearby during 'normal people' hours. The whole point was 24hrs. No notification, no warning. The staff is usually attentive and better than most in terms of friendliness and service. They have packages and greeting cards available for sale during business hours. Parking lot gets very congested and full during peak rush hours. Thr above was written 3yrs ago. I'm updating because last year my friend mailed me an order I placed with her business, which included the cost of shipping. Upon picking up mail at my box address, there was the yellow card, meaning the item doesn't fit or requires a signature. So I went to the front desk and they demanded I pay for shipping, because she placed a Handle with Care sticker and used regular postage. I've never had a USPS location try to charge me to receive my mail! It was a lot to, something like $12 if I recall correctly. On top of that, I have 2 pieces of mail belonging to someone else. One that's still been using my address, that I've had now for 7.5 years and another that was placed in the wrong box. It happens frequently, which is one of the reasons I avoid using a home/physical address and purchase this mailing address. As far as I know they haven't "lost" MY mail, but I have had issues with UPS or FedEx delivering to the 3rd party commercial mailbox store that is literally next door don't park in their parking spots. It cost me work from not receiving my supplies. Overall, with the adjusted hours I can rarely pick up my mail, unless I'm working in the area and get off in time. I don't drive that way just to pick up mail often. Those hour changes a few years ago really affected my convenience, but it is what it is now. I have observed the staff dealing with difficult situations with customers that are rightfully upset most likely, but they seem to cope decently and do what they can to try and solve what they might be able to.
