THE COMPETITION Bad Medicine is the first annual Utah Affiliate Cup Competition. This competition is dedicated to providing an incredible stomping ground for team competition.
THE FORMAT Every team will be tested with 5 workouts over a 2 day period, spanning from Friday, January 31st and Saturday, February 1st.
Day 1 - Friday There will be open times that each team is able to sign up for on Friday the 31st from 1pm until 9pm. The team will be tasked to complete 3 workouts within a 1 hour period.
Day 2 - Saturday The competition will commence at 730am with heats being assigned to each team. After the completion of 2 WODs, then there will be a specific number of teams from each division heading into the FINAL!
THE WODs The WODs will be designed with the open format in mind. The movements will not be heavy; however there will be a high degree of teamwork needed to accomplish each one. We will provide a brief explanation of 90% of the movements to be expected as we get closer to competition time.
THE DIVISIONS
There are going to be 2 different divisions!
1. Open division for competitors of under the age of 39. These teams will be comprised of 4 athletes: 2 male and 2 female.
2. Masters division for competitors age 40 and above. These teams will be comprised of 2 athletes: 1 male and 1 female.
