I literally went in UTEP library twice to be able to capture all the inspirational objects that they're trying to communicate with each student. Regardless the Starbucks located at the hall, the Sunday afternoon sunlight made the entire building so brightful and hopeful, it makes feel boosted that you would pour all of your energy to study hard for a brighter future. Except all the books stored here, there's 3 things worth spending your time digesting the messages that UTEP sends out: 1. The historical flags, hang on the walls of the stairs, to remind you the difficult time when Texans were fighting for their freedom 2. The Spanish cultural relics, the religious items which originated the education of Mexican back to hundreds of years ago 3. The "holed" ceiling, which tells you only "sky's the limit" whenever you walk up or look up
Great place to get work done, lots of study spaces, helpful staff, and a coffee shop inside.
Very spacious, with a lot of study areas on multiple floors! With a Starbucks area on the second floor! Very quiet, so I recommend a pair of headphones and quiet time for stuff class material with a lot of charging stations as well as many connection outlets.
Great library and helpful librarians
Library is big & has huge collection of books. You can get any kind of books here. There is a silent zone 5th floor where you will have the best environment for self study & have places for group study too. Borrowing books is also easy. However, sometimes it becomes difficult to find desired books as there is no librarian.
They're very helpful and the student printing service is quick once you get the app set up on your phone. It does get crowded when its cold out and durring finals season, so if you plan on visiting get there early. Besides that, the starbucks inside is pretty quick, but a bit pricey. Overall, a nice place to go study :
As a student I have always found a safe haven in the library. Ever since this happened the limitations in the library have made a great impact to me and other students as well. But going there for the first time in months because of a time-sensitive emergency, the essential staff was very kind to me and did their best to help me in a very tight spot. All the people that are working there, their effort and positivity has been a light of hope in the darkness of uncertainty that has come, and I'm really grateful for their service and hope that they, at the end of the day, will be safe
One of the best and most beautiful libraries in El Paso and possibly Texas.
Great University and a great workout because it’s all hills. Ladies bring flats and sneakers but if you wear heels you’ve been warned.
Love this library. Has great hours and many services. Has a writing center to help you write papers. You can also check out laptops, iPads, headphones, cameras and other technology. Has plenty of computers to use. The best part is during the summer, the air conditioning is a perfect way to get out of the heat.
