I'm honestly impressed by how quickly the staff set me up for an initial visit with a primary care Dr. I was already enrolled in the system and have been to other VAs, so that certainly helps. I was in and out within 20 minutes.
New to the VA Health Care system. Staff at Chicago Heights clinic very helpful, and understanding. I felt comfortable at my first visit, and my primary care doctor is great. Recently had blood tests, and the nurse was very professional, understanding, and answered all my questions.
I Never had a problem from day one. Staff has always been nice and very helpful to me. This is the first time in 38 years I've been helped by any VA.services and I think they are doing a great job considering all the needs of Veterans.
Staff required that I make two separate appointments on seperate days and times so that I can complete their labs. The nature of my visit to this office was solely to get a referral to a specialist at Jesse Brown VA which does not require any lab work. I called Jesse Brown immediately afterwards and had an appointment scheduled with the specialist I needed to see. They did not require that I complete labs either.
Long very long waits even if you are the only patient in th waiting room.
The new address for the clinic is 211 S. Dixie Highway Chicago Heights, IL
I hear that they have great service which is a plus that is very important to everyone that attend there .
I can never talk to anyone on the phone!!! It is so irritating to keep calling and calling and no one answers! Very rude and unprofessional staff nurses and front desk
Nice, accessible location. Lots of parking.
Whenever i call all I get is an automated voice that promises to return my call, but doesn't!
