What a wonderful stay! I was visiting family in the area and was blessed to hear about this beautiful B&B. It’s a gorgeous property and the decor is elegant and welcoming. Rick, my host, was most generous and his breakfasts are delicious and plentiful! My room was very large & comfortable. I also had a huge master bath loaded with amenities! The perfect peaceful place to visit or enjoy a romantic getaway. Thank you so much Rick, I’ll be back
I was there for an auction, did not stay. But the house is pretty, many rooms. The owner is in a nursing home and the sister-in-law wants to buy it and still run it as a bed and breakfast. Rooms: Many rooms in the Victorian style. Limited parking.
This place is amazing. The owner Richard is friendly and accommodating. We only got to stay one night in the Nautical Suite, but would stay again in a minute. Great old house. Most incredible antiques. Room was big and beautiful, and dont even get me started on that bathtub. Go here if you ever get the chance!
Richard is the best host. Beautiful amenities, quiet rooms well appointed with thoughtful accommodations. Great breakfast with gluten free options, made to order at your time request. Have stayed their previously. Looking forward to coming back. You will not be disappointed.
The home and it’s innkeeper are both equally fascinating. The inn is beautifully appointed with wonderful antiques yet is comfortable and inviting. The guest rooms are spacious with all the amenities needed for a great stay. We truly enjoyed Richard’s conversation over our delicious breakfast and look forward to our next stay!
Great room, and excellent breakfast. The Jacuzzi tub was amazing; I took 3 baths in 2 days just because I could. It's within walking distance of the local downtown, including several restaurant that had takeout options during the Covid Pandemic. There is also a nice little park within walking distance.
My husband and I wanted a night away and discovered this online. We noticed all the positive reviews, so we decided to book. It was our first visit to a bed and breakfast, and we were very pleased. It was absolutely beautiful, and the cleanliness passed our white glove test. ; Plus, the innkeeper was very friendly and hospitable. He cooked breakfast which was very good, and made sure to accommodate my vegan diet. I highly recommend Victorian Tudor Inn, you won't be disappointed.
In a word, our stay at Rich's bed and breakfast was sublime. It's a Victorian-style home on a corner in a small town, but unbeknownst to unsuspecting travelers without a keen eye. Rich is the owner, and he is a very nice and attentive man who not only spoke with us at length about his own life we ended up having lived in many of the same places, but about the history of the house and the town, as well as famous guests. We were given a free upgrade to a suite with a Jacuzzi and a very comfortable bed. The room was almost out of a Paramount film set: in other words, perfection. In the morning, Rich made us a delicious batch of French toast with fruit, coffee, and orange juice, and we sat in comfort for a very satisfying meal. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel, even if you're coming to Sandusky: it's a short 20-30 minute drive south but trust me when I say it's well worth it. There are taxis and Lyfts/Ubers, so have no fear you can get to Cedar Point or the nearby wineries with ease. Don't settle for a chain hotel. Come here!
A delightful host in a gorgeous setting made this a great stop. We stayed in the Nautica Suite which was spacious and decorated in the sea theme its name implies. The suite had a jetted tub and a separate shower, generous window seats and free wi-fi. Breakfast was french toast made with cinnamon apple artisan bread, fresh fruit, bacon and several drink options. The inn is so lavishly decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and vintage items that it will take several visits to see it all. Richard, our host, is very personable and an interesting conversationalist. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the town of Bellevue well worth a return visit.
Stayed for a few nights in the Nautical Suite. Very spacious and comfortable. Location was convenient. Breakfast is different each day, and you can request items. We didnt spend much time in the common areas, but they also look comfortable and quiet. Host is friendly and knowledgeable about the area and it's history. Will stay again.
