Not sure where my one star rating has gone but here's another just so you are aware and updated! Dr. Ellison is a horrible doctor! I went to see him multiple times; for very specific issues. The only answers he provided were "I smoke too much and imagine my pain". Couldn't perform a basic physical exam to find a mass growing in me that I specifically explain where the location was. To top it all prescribed me Prozac after only listening to me for 5 minutes tops!!! Here's a great update for you Ellison; the "mass" is a cyst, the "imaginary" pain is a thicking in my colon and the Prozac was by far your most stupid call by far!! Hope you loose your license!! I'll be sure to try.
Dr. Ellison and the staff at Vista Family Health were awesome! It was time to find a new doctor after moving from Colorado, and I’m happy I stumbled onto Vista and Dr. Ellison. He is knowledgeable, leaves room for questions and concerns, kind, and professional. The whole experience was quick and easy.
I have a wonderful primary care doctor. She is very understanding and very concerned about her patients. I never felt comfortable with my other doctors like I do her. Dr. Averill, is a very loving and caring person, and the staff there makes you feel at ease and welcomed.
Office and front desk lady was nice but I was told they were in network with my insurance when they weren’t and received a higher than expected bill.
My very first visit here was wonderful! They got me in so quickly from the waiting room, into see the intake nurse, then the doctor! Highly satisfied with my visit and will definitely be a regular in the future. Dr. Aley pronounced like Haley without the H was so nice and professional. He made me feel very comfortable.
Vista family is amazing!! Kara Pratt, PA is always so efficient & cares. Which is hard to find at any HCA-Mission owned location. The whole staff is so friendly & I am grateful that I was referred.
Terrible. Doctor wouldn’t listen to us, was condescending, didn’t actually seem to understand how things work. To add insult to injury, I was prescribed something and it never got sent to the pharmacy - despite me following up multiple times. Our pharmacy request was also ignored despite us giving the exact address for our pharmacy, so now we have to go totally out of our way to pick anything up. Absolutely useless. It felt like the doctor was going out of her way to make our lives difficult.
I have Dr. Watts as my new provider, however I have been a patient since the very beginning of Vista Family HealthDr Fields and Dr Runkle; I originally followed Dr Runkle when he went to Pardee but unfortunately he had to unexpectedly retire early! With that said I knew I wanted to return to Vista Family Health because they were my comfort zone with great providers, nurses, lab techs, and front desk staff! Dr Watts makes me feel like a person and not just a number, she listens to me and makes me feel comfortable like I was truly heard, I can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and has their best interest at heart; Dr Watts is highly knowledgeable and up to date in all aspects of being a medical provider! Lastly I just recently moved to South Carolina and I will continue to drive to North Carolina to see Dr Watts for as long as I possibly can!!!
After years of trying to find a primary physician I’m comfortable with, Vista Family Health is my place where I can stay healthy and go to when I need support. Dr. Averall was kind, educated and efficient. From the front desk to the exam, I was happy. My husband is going to switch to this office too. Highly recommend it!
Reception and nursing staff were all professional and pleasant. Wait time was minimal. Had a new patient visit with Dr Watts who was professional and empathetic. Feel very confident that this will be a good fit for me.
