I love the Brown. Ive been here several times over the years and have seen a few shows. Always had a great time. Cant say I have bought alcohol or used the bathroom here, but I'm sure its like most other places. I usually try my best to steer clear of public bathrooms anyway. Definitely recommend seeing a show here. Seating is kinda tight, but nothing I couldnt handle for a few hours.
I dressed for summer. But best dress for air conditioning! Tommy Emmanual show was fantastic!
The acoustics are great. The staff are all on point. It's second only to The Palace, in terms of architectural beauty of theaters in Louisville. The size is also perfect. So, even the back row seats are enjoyable. The only time it felt crowded was upon exiting. It had been about 15 years since I last visited, and a little wear was present if you looked hard enough.
This place was very nice. The staff was friendly and the show was great. 10/10 would recommend.
Took my kid there for a theater competition. Very historic and beautiful. The staff was awesome and friendly. Close to a lot of great places to eat as well. Biggest complain is that lack of microwaves and fridges in the rooms.
Beautiful old theater! It’s a great experience just to view the theater itself. I was able to go see Kelly Ripa who I have enjoyed since she first went on Live with Regis. The show was good but in the cost of the show we were included one of her books. Instagram showed her signing stacks of books. We thought we would get an autographed copy but no such luck. Also it was a pretty short show about 75 minutes and no question and answer period. The theater is great though!
Awesome place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Saw a great show. Found parking that was quick in and quick out.
The most pleasant staff within a gorgeous building with some fantastic names coming through. A great experience all round. Also, a good selection of drinks as well! If you end up going to The Brown, you certainly won't have a frown. Enjoy!
Outstanding show. The Brown theater is a beautiful venue.
What a lovely experience, visit for the first time this weekend for the NYTEA and it was lovely. I love the whole ambiance and decoration of the theater. Very well maintain, cleaned and classical.
