Waku Chicken

Just grabbed dinner from here. Great family run Peruvian spot with fantastic food and customer service, at a great value. You get more sides and a 2-liter with a whole chicken for less price than any other place around. Def worth checking it out and I'll be returning soon.

I wasn't going to give them a 5 start...but i did, because the manager took care of me immediately, she found out that I had ordered a drink that they thought they had...as found out they didn't. But she acted and decided to take care of me l, I was very impressed by it. I do recommend this place the charcoal chicken is very good.

Just an ok Peruvian chicken, very dry chicken and pork. Large portions and fair price, but is not worth your time. We have several places with the same food that tastes better, not dry as the dessert. The Pan Con Chicharron was the painless experience, looked like old Frozen meat for a while ago.

Was recommended for lunch by a Work associate. I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodating staff and quality of the food. When I arrived I was greeted received smiles from everyone working at the time. They informed me of their daily specials and what I usually like to eat Peruvian. Ended up get what I thought was carne asada that took 7 minutes to prepare with yuca and cilantro rice. The food and price was quite exceptional with a great portion of food to save for later. My overall experience guarantees that I will not only come back, but recommend this place and bring friends for lunch.

Great chicken, cucumber salad, rice and beans, sweet plantains, and yucca. Food well seasoned and local drinks. I recommend the golden cola. Shared whole chicken for 4 and had leftovers. Great garlic sauce, green sauce, etc. Ask for dessert made daily.

Waku Chicken used to be one of my favorite places to eat. It has changed a lot over the past 3 years. The food seems of poor quality now and portions are much smaller than they used to be. I ordered online recently, and when I arrived at the restaurant they told me they did not receive my order and refused to give me a refund for the food I had already paid for. The man at the register was rude as well. That was the last time I will ever go there. I do not recommend this restaurant at all. You’re better off going to Pollo Peru or Pollo Campero.

The chicken was good. Skin was crispy, meat was juicy and tender. Very hot so please use forks. The sides: fried plantain and mixed vegetables. The veggies were a bit overcooked but held on. The plantains were soft and sweet, a perfect ending of your meal. I believe that Waku has kept the flavor for over a year and keeps getting better. This is always a good sign.

I love Peruvian chicken. Seeing the review i decided to try this new place. Pros: Excellent fried rice,generous portions,Good dining space,Clean and area is good. Cons: Not so flavorful Peruvian chicken, I generally eat at chicken rico which is bit shady but when bring chicken from there my car smells like Peruvian charcoal chicken on my way home. So this is bit bland for me. But for a family dining this is certainly good place.

One of my favorite Peruvian restaurants! The food is really good and the costumer service is always very nice, I just came back from Florida and I can say that the pan con chicharrón is the best that I have ever tried!

Chicken is delicious! Fell right off the bone. Skin is crispy and well seasoned. Salad is fresh, fries are crispy and yucca is perfect. Staff is friendly and prompt. Definitely would eat here again.
