It looks like most of the reviews here are for the pharmacy, which I have not used at this location. My experience has been that the employees at the checkout and in the photo/business department are so friendly and helpful, they really brighten up my day. Particularly Felipe and Charity, who have helped a few times when our family has urgent last minute needs for printing documents and photos. They have gone over and above to help guide me through my technophobia, troubleshooting some challenging situations when we've needed things on short notice. When I've called ahead, Felipe is great about answering the phone, listening to what we need, and answering thoroughly. He is so quick to help everyone with a big smile and calming demeanor. Charity worked with us today, figuring out how to get important sensitive files that were lost in our phone to upload and print. Kudos for the great customer service!
Great employees! I just went in for some vaccinations, they helped me with my paperwork even though they were busy. Fast and efficient workers, and a nice environment overall. You could tell they cared about their customers, both at the pharmacy and check-out!
Pharmacy employees were doing their best, but I vowed never go back there like 12 years ago and regretted going there today. We had appointments for COVID vaccines and weren’t given the shot until an 01:15 hour and fifteen minutes after we arrived. Walgreens shouldn’t have the option to schedule appointments if they aren’t properly staffing or retaining employees to give said shots. Seems like some systemic issues, but 100% not worth it. We arrived with 2 people in line before us and it took that long. When we left there were 6 people in line. It took 10-15 minutes for the people in the drive through to be noticed. Big yikes
Been coming here to this location for 2+years and all the employees are so kool and nice plus this store is well stocked in all departments. If you live in the area this is your Walgreen's Avoid the White Center location, not good.
Stay away from this Walgreens. The wait to pick up prescriptions inside or the drive through is ridiculous. They often don’t have medications I need in stock, forcing you to get them elsewhere or wait up to a week or more. Lastly they NEVER answer the phone. I’ve waited for over 2 hours on hold before giving up. I will never go back.
Please STAY AWAY from this Walgreens Pharmacy. We picked up Insulin for my father who is diabetic and once he got home to use it , we find out the Insulin Pens are EXPIRED. This situation could of been a lot worse if we did not catch that. We brought it back to store to get explanation and all we got is excuses after excuses from the Pharmacist and store manager. You would think for such a big company there would be system in place to prevent this. Take your prescriptions elsewhere people or get expired medications. We are still flabbergasted by the lack of care and safety measures this pharmacy takes. I have attached a picture of the expired insulin pens.
Pharmacists have 0 work experience, they have no idea of what they doing, they don’t even know the name of the meds. Calling us saying that prescriptions are ready but when we arrive there is nothing there.
Wonderfully fabulous staff and pharmacists. Unfortunately, appears they are grossly under staffed. As many previous review have commented, wait times are very long. I manage my elderly mother’s medication long distance – I can not go into store. Calls are disconnected after 20 minutes on hold. When I do visit and go to store, it is obvious pharmacist are frantically trying to keep up. They are always pleasant and try to be helpful even with staffing limitation. Its a shame Walgreens’ management fails to hire enough pharmacist to cover workload. No Covid is not a good excuse any more. Maybe management and executives should staff appropriately so pharmacist can do their job and have a life, and maybe a younger generation would consider being a pharmacist. I find it ironic that telephone greeting says “this is Pharmacist appreciation month” Very ironic.
The pharmacy is very inefficient and slow. They tell you prescriptions are ready when they are not.
Came in after 12 hour shift last night 10/20/22 and the cashier didn't let me use my phone number, then said goodbye have a nice night before my receipt even printed. So I waited for my receipt and she gave me dirty looks. Either be nicer, don't judge people or do your job.
