Two things I needed today and was passing by this Walmart. They had one windshield washer fluid and not the other cat litter. Otherwise, the store seemed to be in good condition. I didn't spot trash on the floor and while they've converted most of the registers to self-checkout, there was not a queue on an early Sunday afternoon. I've been to worse Walmarts and good ones. This one could have been better.
Hope you don't need to use the restroom. Walked into the bathroom and two employees are just standing there vaping. Meanwhile there's no toilet paper in the bathroom and the toilets are disgusting. Also no hand soap anywhere.
Terrible service! employees pretend not to see you, smoking inside the work environment and very loud music. You stand there waiting and nobody comes to talk to you. the minimum of a service manual is to say: Hi, just a minute, I'll be right back! The impression that they are dissatisfied with this work! and we are loyal Walmart customers who come out on the worst.
This is one of the better locations for Walmart in Matthews. The people are generally friendly and helpful. The place stays clean and there seems to be a desire to keep the place functioning and crime free. The only thing they really need to work on is the options for handicapped or disabled people. There are old and worn out self-driving carts that either don't work or are functioning poorly. If they will purchase more carts, I'd give them a full 5 stars. Other than that, the produce is fresh. The deli is always on point and the clothes and appliances are priced decently. I have no complaints about this Walmart. They do the best they can but always can improve.
They can upgrade their stores all they want, they’ll still carry piss poor qualities when they hire employees that don’t care about real customer service. Tried getting a motorized wheel chair to an elderly woman in the parking lot, literally had 6 employees look at me like I was crazy when I asked them to help. You’re new upgraded stores will still have the same old same feel to them.
I had a great experience visiting Walmart Super Center! It was a pleasant surprise to find that it wasn't congested, making my shopping trip hassle-free. The self checkout process was convenient and efficient, allowing me to complete my purchase quickly. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable shopping outing.
I have been waiting for picking up my car key for 50 minutes. There is no any cashier for pay my oil change fee. This is a terrible customer service on 9/3/2022 here. Then I talked with white lady who has a wakietakie who did not help at all. After 10 minutes i had to report to another manager Deida who does not want say clearly her name and didn't show name tag either. She said that once so i was not sure whether her name is correct or not. Finally I got service from other lady. I spent exactly 2 hours for oil change service. I am not recommend any service this wormart.
Super clean store. The majority of the staff that works there is very friendly and helpful. Only took one star away due to quality control and moreover ”someone” in customer service. My daughters purchased lunchables from the grab and go section that had expired the day before and they realized it only once they opened them. I immediately returned to the store to return them literally within 5 minutes. They weren’t busy at all so once I got the counter, ”someone” didn’t have what you would consider great customer service. Maybe it was just me because I watched her speak with another customer about how she’s worked for the store for 19 years impressive! and she assisted her customer with making some type of payment, so I expected to receive similar friendliness. When I approached the counter and explained why I was returning the lunchables- she didn’t say anything. Rolled her eyes and started looking at the item noticing it was open. She didn’t say anything so I told her if she was looking for the date of expiration it was on the side. Again.. she said nothing. Then she says- “so what do you want, the money back on the card?!” Ummm yes … that’s fine. She issues the refunds and hands me the receipts. No apologies. No - have a great day and sorry for the inconvenience… Nothing. So my initial impression of her being another great employee - quickly went to meh. Sad… not sure why her demeanor changed with me but hopefully it’s not like that all the time.
My appointment was at 8 am, I arrived at 7:40 to be able to leave quickly, I bought tires online when I arrived my order was canceled, I decided to buy more expensive tires because I can’t waist more time and it's 10:45 and they say it takes 30 more minutes. My whole morning was already ruined by the bad service and apart from that I went out buying more expensive tires very bad customer service, I talk to the manager an she was so rude, she said she can do nothing about it…10:59 just get a text said my service just started
I hate this Walmart passionately. The cashiers are rude, irate and disrespectful to the point where some will even threaten punching customers. I heard one threaten a lady after dealing with her. I once stood in an aisle minding my own business, and a walmart associate yelled at me, “CAN I HELP YOU?!” When I wasn’t even looking in their direction. There’s this dark skin girl with long eyelashes that has a disgruntled attitude every time my grandmother comes to her line and she is especially nasty when she interacts with me. The managers are nonexistent — so you definitely can’t call them. There’s always fights in the parking lot or inside the store. The staff follow and stalk you throughout the store. I mind my business, and instead of helping me or minding their own business, they make me the butt of their own terrible, miserable joke. I hate going here so badly, I have other people get my things for me or I order online or go to another location. But Walmart is so terrible in general, that I avoid it at all costs. The store is always on the news because of a disgruntled employee attacking people. This has happened twice in another state, and I’m sure something like this will occur at this location or in the Charlotte area in the foreseeable future.
