This was a great stay, especially for the cost! The breakfast is not complimentary, and it is just under $20 for a very basic buffet. I recommend walking just 20 minutes down the road to a stretch of cafes and coffee shops instead — something the front desk obviously doesn’t want to recommend, as I inquired multiple times about the area. This hotel runs really cold!!! Which was great for me. If that’s not your kind of thing, unfortunately, there’s no real way to escape it. It’s freezing.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting this location to be as good as it was. The front desk staff were very helpful and courteous. The lobby and public areas were clean. The room was very spacious and the bed quite comfortable. There were more than enough amenities in the room and it was quite comfortable overall. If getting to many places in the east bay is why you're there, it's a great location. In the end, I had a great stay here and will certainly return if I'm in the area.
Facility is poorly maintained. Look at all photos. They violate ADA and other regulations regarding disabled parking and accessibility. The parking garage is full of cobwebs, leaky pipes and other concerning issues. The wall in one of the exit stairways has a 8 foot crack. This could be a sign of imminent structural failure. They force you to valet and pay $12-30 a day for parking. This is absurd. The best part of this place is the restaurant and glass atrium in the lobby. The restaurant was understaffed and some people didn’t even get their much after nearly an HOUR of waiting. Breakfast was not worth the $20 they charged. Salad was actually very good here. Wait staff was friendly but not attentive at all due to handling so many tables. Overall the rest of the hotel had adequate staff on hand. I couldn’t find the pool to take a photo. The bathrooms are decent. Not updated but clean and fully stocked. Noteworthy details: Parking is an additional $30/night
We visited for a concert at the pavilion. It was a great stay compared to Concord hotels closer to the Pavilion. Nice hotel. Bed was very comfortable and room was nice. For some reason, the tile in the ceiling was lifted like a crawl space. Odd. I had my husband with me so i wasnt too worried. Had i been alone on a business trip, i wouldve definitely asked to switch rooms. Also bathroom vent had so much built up dust. Kinda gross. Worst part is we had to get on the road early to leave and the shower water was cold the entire time. It never got hot. It was hot the night before but there was no hot water in the morning. We were already leaving so we didn't make a big deal about it. Other than that, we would stay again. The free coffee on the way out was nice. Parking is only valet, $30 per night. Service was ok. We signed up for the Marriott card so we could use on this stay and get the points, only to be disappointed that we couldn't use the extra points you get for having the credit card on this stay because we needed to have the card in hand first. Sad that we missed out on the extra points.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say that my overall experience was ruined by the poor sound insulation in the rooms. The room I stayed in was 212, it’s one of the room with a indoor balcony, it was 10:34PM., I can hear every noise from restaurant down the stairs , people’s laughing , shakers from the Bar, fork scratching the plate, everything. It was a rough night. Cons The room was cleaned out perfectly, and the staffs were helpful in all aspects. I would strongly recommend for headphone or earbuds at night. The video will somewhat give you an idea of loud the noises are Rooms: Room was clean, but definitely not quite
The quietest hotel I've ever stayed in! The staff is great and go out of their way to help you. Rooms are modern and clean. Don't waste your time looking around, this is a great hotel. Valet staff is excellent as well. Loved this place and we will return!Rooms: 5/5
This was a last minute reservation. We were tired from traveling and had issues at the original hotel we were to stay at. Channel at the front desk was AMAZING. She was so understanding and helpful! They even brought our luggage up to the room. The rooms are very nice for $169 a night on a Saturday. I would see the only improvement would be of a sitting area. There was some empty space in the room that could have been used. The location is wonderful. Easy access of 680 and so clues to downtown dining and restaurants. They have valet which is a bit expensive but that’s normal for a hotel. The bed was realllllllllly comfy!! They have a wonderful breakfast buffet with an omelette station! Beverages included it’s $19 per person! Great fresh fruit!! Overall we would definitely stay here again. It was a stop on our way to Napa!!
Very nice hotel. Only recommendation is to allow entrance on both sides. I got lost thinking I can circle the block. The restaurant on location had great food and excellent service. Really quick check in and guest service brought blankets at my request really fast. I would love to stay longer next time to enjoy the indoor pool and bar.Rooms: 5/5
A nice-ish place to go to while touring California. Local enough to other cities. They have free Continental breakfast and our server, Wendy was very kind. The front desk staff when we checked in wasn't very knowledgeable about their jobs. The pool was very cold for a "heated pool" and it shares a wall with the freeway so it's incredibly loud and windy. The rooms were nice and clean.
Update - September 1. I recently stayed here again for four days. Cockroaches were even worse than before. If you see the image that I attached they’re walking through the main lobby. Outside, they’re even larger and more prevalent I don’t understand why the hotel is not doing anything about this. It’s ok, staff is friendly. I’ve found the hotel pretty clean. I did notice a lot of cockroaches around the outside of the building. Also the concierge lounge is almost never restocked, which is kind of frustrating.
