Sergant Wendell & the Walton County Sheriffs Office has been incredible in going above and beyond to implement, educate, and maintain, a program that has proven highly effective in safety education and accident prevention with the Golf Cart LSV program! As a local LSV rental company owner, it’s such a relief to have Walton County Sheriffs Office being so proactive to ensure the safety of locals, tourists, and there families, during there visit, and oversee and educate the rental companies so that we can have a win win relationship and preserve the safety of our community! So much of our business is based on safety education and we are so very appreciative of this, and can’t say enough about how impressed we are with Sergant Wendells willingness & ambition to put this together and see it through! We have stickers in every cart outlining the rules and seatbelt laws as well as where the carts can be driven. Signs along the roads addressing these very issues as reminders and officers actively enforcing these rules along Scenic 98 & 30a. Thus far, we have gone accident/incident free thanks to this program and the help of Sergant Wendell! Thank you WCSO for going above and beyond!!

I want to first say “commitment to excellence” seems to be exactly what y’all do. Friday dec. 14th My husbands car quit in the middle of 98 west in Destin. Long story short the team that came definitely helped me in so many ways. I appreciate officer McCormick off duty officer John he didn’t give me his last name, they were absolutely awesome. They handle situations so great and work together so good. Casey with Jimmys wrecking company was outstanding as well and speedy. I just appreciate what y’all do and how you handle situations. April 7, 2016 @ approximately 7:30 pm-I had a situation @ my hm that prompted me to call 911. Walton county's Finest were here in minutes...& resolved the problem just as quick! My mom got arrested then taken to jail because they recalled her city date then said that in walton county they had a worent out for her arrest. We NEED better police in this city
