Warner Robins Music

So, in reviewing this music store I really have to separate it into two separate ratings. One would be for service and another for selection. The service is great. I went in recently on a Friday just before the drum teacher/tech, Drew, was scheduled to leave and he wasn't in a huge rush to ditch me, like I have experienced at some music stores before. He helped me greatly with my snare sound and took the time to explain some things to me that I needed to know. I'm really, really grateful for that. 5 stars for service. The second aspect, selection, I would say gets fewer stars, maybe 3, so I averaged the overall rating out to 4. I'm considering taking some drum lessons there and if I'm happy with those then I might bump it up to 5 since they would be more of a school than a music store, which I think is probably the case anyway. I don't know if Warner Robins has enough mid level to advanced musicians to warrant a music store with top brand names, so it's hard to hold that against any music store here. If I have the drive to see some great gear then I'm going to have to drive to see it ;

People are nice but they don’t call you back. Ordered a 3/4 size violin for my son. Got it out and tuned it and the fine tuner was stripped on one string. Called back. They said they would have to order a new violin since they don’t usually keep 3/4 size in stock. I waited. And waited. They never called back. By now my son has outgrown the 3/4 size violin and I have to buy new fine tuners to put on if I want to even sell it. Separate situation: Called for a price quote on approximately 10-15 classical guitars for a group. Said they would call me back with a price. They never did. Had to take my business elsewhere so that’s approximately $1500-$2000 of business yearly that I had to take somewhere else. Like I said. The people seem nice but customer service leaves a LOT to be desired.

We took my sons guitar for a very simple repair on a Tuesday. I was told the guitar would be ready later that day or by the end of the week if they had to order the part. I called the next Monday to discover no one had even looked at the guitar. I received a call back later that day with the price to repair and agree to have them fix the guitar. When they finally call me back on Friday to tell me I can pick up the guitar, the price went up. No apologies for how long it to or for the horrible service, just a price increase from what was told to us. I even have the voicemail message still stating the price and they refused to keep the price. We will NEVER go back!

Great store. I get all of my guitar strings, picks, trombone accessories, and pretty much anything I need that is related to music. The staff is always nice and helpful, & I've never had any issues with the store. I would say that it definitely deserves 5+ stars. I highly recommend it.

Great atmosphere. I love Mrs Donna. She always has a smile and ready to assist you when you walk in the door. My kids love coming for their piano lessons every week. I'm glad we choose this shop as the one stop shop for all of our music needs.

I bought an instrument cable here and took it home. When i plugged it in there was so much interference I thought I was in a 90 grunge band. After checking my setup to make sure i wasn't crazy, when I moved the cord around I could hear the buzzing change and phase. If I plugged it into my TV i could probably pick up channel 13. I promptly went to return it and was told we dont really do returns, it says right there on the receipt. I almost asked if they had an amp because if we plugged it in we could probably hear what they were ordering at Hardees. I did get a refund pending but I definitely would not recommend those instrument cables. They are terribad. Went to another store and picked one up. No problems with it at all.

Love this place! Owners are awesome! Would like to visit more often and possibly get guitar lessons. My daughter really enjoyed this place and the memberabilia on the wall, she just happened to be wearing her Bob Marley hat when she went in!

I, as an adult, was curious about playing the cello but didn't want to pay thousands for something I might not use. Warner Robins Music rents to anyone, and you can return the instrument at any time without fees for a "canceled rental contract" or anything like that. I was right, I didn't use the cello and returned it after three months. The rental process and the return process were handled effortlessly.

I have a school rental through Warner Robins Music and while they are nice for the most part, the customer service is to be desired. The lady who works at the front is just condescending and acts like she has better things to do than deal with a kid's school rental. Maybe I just took her attitude the wrong way but she seemed very unconcerned that they had my son's instrument for repairs for the last 8 days and havent bothered to give me an update when I made it clear he either needs it back or a rental by Monday 7 days after I dropped it off. I told her I tried to call Sunday to get the loaner and she simply said "we're closed Sundays, Ill see if I have one and call you back" and when I got there, there were no other customers but she seemed too busy to "deal with me"

Awesome Customer Service. Went to their store twice and both times was greeted, the staff was eager to assist, answer questions we had. They offered us lessons. We did make a purchase. Excellent all the way around. Not sure about the other posts. Great customer service. I will definitely shop again and definitely recommend.
