UVM's WE is a residential community of students who commit to keeping their living spaces a healthy place by focusing on healthy brains and healthy bodies.
The Wellness Environment (WE) is a university-wide behavior change program with a residential component. WE breaks wellness down into four pillars: fitness, nutrition, mindfulness, and relations. Students in WE will be given the resources and incentives they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Along with this new environment, the University of Vermont is also offering supplemental classes that emphasize the importance of mental and physical wellness. Courses will be taught by graduate students, post doctoral students and doctors from the Vermont Center for Children Youth and Families.
