My Puppy Zeus needed emergency surgery. Everywhere else was charging me 10k for it but. Harvest on charges me half that. They kept me up to date while my puppy was hospitalized and they made sure all my questions were answered whenever I called. Amazing staff and amazing work
My husband and I took our feline son in for an ear infection today. This was the second time we've taken our kid there. The first time was quick and easy; it was a quick neutering. The appointment I'm at now, well, we've been waiting for 50 minutes to see a vet even though we had an appointment. At this point, I'll use this vet to take care of son's ear today, but I'll never come back here again. No one even came to check on us or give us an update. Just left us waiting--and as of this writing, we're STILL waiting. So unprofessional. The only positive is that the vet was black, which you don't see too often. Kudos for diversity in the office. Edit: After an hour, the ver FINALLY came in. No apology, no compassion. The appointment was as transactional as going to the bank. Eff this place.
Me & my fur baby “Boozhoo” absolutely love Dr. Jones, been seeing him for almost 8 yrs. I live in the Blue Diamond- Rainbow area and pass numerous Vet offices to arrive at West Charleston. But we wouldn’t have it any other way. The only problem is the front desk. Whenever you call, they put you on hold and you have to wait “FOREVER”!!!! And their phone etiquette is horrible, very unprofessional, as well as one-on-one
Been going to West Charleston Veterinary for over 15 years. I've had no problems, they understand the needs of my pet, and keeps me informed about their yearly shots. Pet boarding cost is also very reasonable.
Brought her in for an ear infection. They explained that it was a fungus and bacterial infection. Presented me with an estimate in advance that we were able to discuss. After we worked out what her treatment would be, they went to work. They gave me her prescriptions. She went to sleep for about six hours after we got home. She immediately seemed better when she woke up and over the course of 10 days has gone back to her normal healthy self. Thank You so much.
Getting shot for my fur baby. West Charleston Animal Hospital was wore very promote in getting us scheduled in for required shots. Staff is amazing and great customer service. Plenty of parking and fur baby friendly. Lobby is clean and fresh. Appointment was scheduled at 7:00 promptly seen after checking in. KC was in an out quickly.
Long story. I used to love this location for my animals. Prices were decent. They are now overpriced, but what caused this review was something absolutely disgusting to be honest. I have a huge distaste for liars. I took my dog in to get REQUIRED vaccines, to get fixed, and to have a microchip put it. I signed the forms where you state no or yes for the extra stuff. AGAIN, I told the office lady I ONLY wanted REQUIRED vaccines. Little did you know when I went to pick up my dog it was about $500 and I asked why my bill so high? The guy showed me that they gave my dog a bunch of vaccines that I had not asked for. I stated what I had told the lady I wanted only the REQUIRED and they pretended to talk to the doctor about getting the charges removed and the lady that I had talked to disappeared to the back probably knowing well that she lied the lady told them she had told me that “I wanted all RECCOMENDED vaccines”, which was a lie. They also forgot to charge me for the microchip which out of me not being a liar I told them about, then bringing my bill over $500 dollars. They proceeded to tell me that if I did not pay the amount they would not release my dog to me. Do not trust these people with your animals. I was very upset with what had happen and will never return to this location.
This little fella was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder a couple years ago and requires more than the usual pet care. Finding reliable/quality vet services was a serious challenge for us due to the ongoing vet shortage and stress on staff. We have been seeing Dr. Gregory Jones at WCAH for almost a year now. I highly recommend Dr. Jones and WCAH to anyone new to Vegas or looking for consistent high-quality vet care. Dr. Jones is knowledgeable, solution/option-oriented, patient, and very kind. He treats my pet with a level of consideration and care that is above and beyond. The staff at WCAH are extremely professional and just as patient. I'm very grateful to Dr. Jones and his staff.
Absolute best vet in Vegas. Dr. Kempf has been my dogs vet for 16 years and he’s been amazing EVERY step of the way. He’s kind yet direct, and incredibly knowledgeable. This office is efficient and organized. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Even when busy they take the time to answer all my questions, and if one staff member doesnt know they inquire with other staff. They have always been kind, work hard to help and keep me informed on what my pet needs. He's been through treatment for kennel cough and parasites when I got him, all his shots. Now his neuter and the extraction of a deciduous tooth. They even called the day after the surgery to check up on how he is doing!
