West Orange Dog Park

Nice dog park! There's a time out area for the dogs too lol, and a basket of tennis balls and other misc throwing toys which is really cool. There's a short trail that leads to the soccer fields. Dog-friendliness: Yep

The dog park is composed of sand and mulch with a few interactive and enrichment items for dogs to enjoy. The community is mostly respectful, however it is important to note some people do bring aggressive dogs. Always keep an eye out on your animal. The plastic disposable poo bag vending stations and water bowls help keep the dogs cool and clean especially in this heat. There are covered tree areas and a pavilion, however furry friends do tend to join you on top of the table.

I love this park because I get to chase my dog non stop, and it has a pretty forest next to it!!! It also is great for a picnic with your friends and family.

There is always someone who tries to bring a big dog in the small dog area. We go specifically to this park so that our small dog does not have to risk sharing the same space as the big ones. Here is a latest example: A guy brings his large Lab 60+ lbs from the big dog area to the small dog area because his other two dogs are small and were in the small dog space with his wife, and since he didn't want them to be separated he got his Lab in the small dog area without a leash! Would he have taken his small dogs into the large dog area so they can be together? Of course not, he's selfish. Perhaps the Lab is great with his other two smalls ones, but we know nothing about him and the point is there are two separate areas - for large and small dogs, and there are other parks he can take them if he wants them to be together. There was no point in arguing with him because he was being selfish and if anything it's our small dog that'll get hurt so we had to leave. Unfortunately, there is no way to enforce this basic rule to NOT bring your large dog into the small dog area. While the place is nice and all, safety is our number 1 priority and no point in anything else if there is no way to enforce common sense rules that are even in writing.

I like coming here with my dog Miya because most of the dogs get along with each other and a lot of times I see the same people here so it's nice when our dogs become friends and get to come back and play together

Always a fun time at the west orange dog park. Its a medium sized dog park with excellent shade from many trees, a water station and a timeout area. The small dog park has more agility items around it while the large dog side doesn't have anything left.

I loved that this dog park offered covered picnic tables to relax at in the shade while our dogs ran around and played together! This was a great touch I haven't seen at many dog parks!

We have 2 large dogs and we always take them here. Some benches for sitting. Lots of shades. Water dispenser for dogs. Separate parks for small vs bog size dogs.

Very nice park with lots of shades and very clean, I take my dog twice and sometimes 3 times a week, my dog loves it. nice atmosphere, people are so nice and friendly.

Nice and shady dog park between Ocoee and Winter Garden. Lots of water bowls and even a doggy wading pool.
