Dr Adams is the smartest doctor I’ve ever met. He is excellent at diagnosing and treating a wide array of diseases. He explains things in everyday language and never runs out of ideas on how to treat resistant problems. I recommend him to all of my family and friends.
Would not recommend anyone choose this office as their PCP. Dr. Izzo specifically does not seem to care about patient needs and will opt to just send a quick text in MyChart instead of call and talk about things.
I am seriously concerned about keeping them as a PCP office. Every issue takes at least a day to respond to. If you message this office, expect to get a response just before they close 4:30 PM- God help you if you message on a Friday have to wait until Monday for any response. This doctors office is pretty good when they are on track, however, they have routine staff turnover and barriers to communication. For example, I was expected to be able to find the documentation for a diagnosis due to a staff change- I did not need it before. Rather than informing me of any of this prior to a visit, I was told at the end.
I've been seeing my Pcp at this practice for a number of years now and never really had a bad experience until my appointment last week. She was very rude to the resident who was seeing me, and found it both inappropriate and uncomfortable to watch the way she treated him. She seemed to intentionally embarrass him while I was in the room, and I felt very bad for someone who is trying to learn how to help patients. In general I found her not very empathetic or helpful in what I made the appointment for, so I will be changing doctors. Current doctors should be mindful of being supportive mentors to residents, you're only continuing a cycle of outdated, overly traditional and unnecessarily insulting behavior towards other clinical staff. I hope the future generation of doctors don't carry on these traits.
When I first came to this practice, it was in 2013 and it was because of the severe pain I was in. Now its 2021, I am in more pain than when I started. Its like being in a circle at this practice. When you PCP can't figure out what to do, than they send me to pain management, after one of my injection that was painful and than found out after a MRI, I have nerve damage, than now sent to a neurologist. So I been from PCP, to pain management, to neurologist, I been through physical therapy and injection and still in pain. My last straw with this place was last month when Dr Johnson who is younger than me, came in and as if she knew my pain level that I am in everyday, advise me they won't approve me for disability, because she feels there's a job out there who won't fire me when I call off due to pain, a job that will let me sit down every 5 to 10 minutes when in severe pain , and when I sitting more than 30 minutes and need to get up will give me a break, and would let me lay down when I need to lay down after standing and sitting hurts my body. To get out the room because she didn't know how to address me after I told her I worked for years and drained basically my life saving since I haven't worked since 2015 and now I have no income. I told her, don't you think if I can work by now, I would have gotten a job. She advised she was going to check with a nurse about something, and never came back in, she sent the medical assistant in to give me my after summary. They learn about how painful things can be, but unless they experience it, they don't know the feeling. Arthritis, spinal stenosis, disc degeneration, bulging disc, hip impingement, nerve damage are all painful, now imagine me, who has all of this going on feels every day of my life. Not fun, because you can no longer enjoy your life.,
Tried to get 3 different appointments scheduled since January at this location. Customer service is poor and they don’t use MyChart in a timely manner. Nurses never answer the phone there you have to leave a message. They wait to hear voicemail and then call you back. They even train their front desk to tell you nurses won’t answer the phone. Lab tech is typically not there so plan on having to find a lab close by after appt. My final straw was driving there this morning and they cancelled my appointment 15 min before scheduled. I luckily called 412-DOCTORS and got rescheduled with a new doctor in a new office closer to my home. They took me within the hour. The service was great.
Dr. Gahdani has been great. Dr. Jessica had to move so when I transferred over to her I was worried, but I've had great appointments and decent response times on my chart messages.
Waited 2 months for an appointment, for it to be cancelled same day by the office. Doctor had to leave the office early, which ok life happens But when I tried to reschedule they wanted me to wait another 2 months..didn’t even try to accommodate me sooner even though they were the ones who cancelled the appointment. Wouldn’t recommend to even try to get an appointment here, they obviously don’t value new patients.
Horrible place. Rude, won't let you deal directly with doctors even when they mess up. Lost my testing and then said they would just call an antibiotic not knowing what I really needed and after being seen elsewhere what they called in was completely wrong. Make a million excuses. Waiting room had rowdy, vulgar people and they ignored it. Would never go there again... Until can switch to a new office will pay more for urgent care or ER rather than return here.
Humiliating experience. The doctors totally dismissed my health concerns and recommended that I take medicine that I have already been taking. When I told them that, they didn't seem to care. Doctors were very condescending and made me feel like I was just there to try and get drugs. Complete waste of time and money, I'm never going back to this location again. Save your time and take your business elsewhere.
