A sprawling activity and relaxation facility sitting right in the heart of West Windsor Township, off Princeton-Highstown Rd. The park is indeed "sprawling," for its territory takes up over 120 acres. There are nice paved walkways that could serve as ideal jogging paths. In addition, there are two basketball courts both closed for maintenance as of late August 2023, a well-equipped skating park, softball field, baseball field, and tennis courts. West Windsor Community Park is dog friendly. There are two doggie parks, for small dogs up to 35 lbs, and for bigger dogs. The dog parks even offer water bowls here and there. Water fountains of different sizes are positioned outside the doggie parks' respective entrances. Only one fountain was up and running, featuring unpleasant warm water. We also noted some newer looking benches that could be good for picnics. West Windsor Community Park opening hours are indicated as Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. We are sure it's a mistake. Most probably, these are the working hours of the park management offices. Besides, there are no gates at the entrance; therefore, after-hours admittance can't be checked. Entering the park, there is West Windsor Waterworks Family Aquatic Center on the right. Don't be mistaken. The entrance requires a membership. The membership varies between West Windsor residents and non-residents. For non-residents, the individual membership goes up to $325 after May 19; the early registration is $50 cheaper. The family membership for non-residents is quite pricey: $650 after May 19. The family membership may only include family members residing at the same address. Ample parking by the entrance. Dog-friendliness: Two doggie parks, for smaller dogs up to 35 lbs and bigger dogs. Fenced. Water fountains and bowls provided. Picnic area: Benches provided.
This is one of my favorite parks in West Windsor, especially in the summer for Water Works. It is quiet a great place to just walk around. Most of the time The Citizens Rifle and Revolver Club is close by so you can hear them some of the time. So if you are looking for complement silence as you around and you hear a few gunshots. This is the why. They run an amazing Club and do great things. It will never stop me from coming park, nor saying good things about their Club and loving this place forever! Playground: Same, only been to the ones inside Water Works. I see the skateboard park from the parking lot, looks pretty cool. Restrooms: I have only been to the ones inside Water Works. Picnic area: I have only been to the ones inside Water Works.
Very good cricket ground with restrooms very close to ground. Pitch has good bounce on it. Bowling area needs some repairs where multiple leagues use this ground but no one bothers to repair the bowler run up.
Township Park with baseball, softball, soccer and football fields. Pickleball and tennis courts as well as a playground for younger kids. Two dog parks- one for small and one for larger dogs. Nice skateboard park and basketball courts. Waterworks swim park in the summer. Hiking/biking trails run through the park.
It was really fun there and during National Night Out, there were lots of tents and the food was good as well as the entertainment.
I love the park. It’s a great place to take my dog and play fetch.
Huge park, great space to take the kids and play.
It's a beautiful place a huge park. We offered Eid prayer there. It was my first eid in US.
Nice place for walking and some small native plant gardens are on display too!!
An enormous park with pools, basketball courts, a skate park, a dog park and more, which is very well taken care of. The paths are usually clean with the exception of after heavy rain, but that is to be expected. Great for long walks.
