I was very nervous prior to arriving for my dental appointment. I was pleasantly surprised with the patience & understanding Dr. Kimball and his staff provided. They answered all of my questions and addressed concerns thoroughly. I feel much more at ease and look forward to completing my dental work. Dr Kimball and his staff are the best in dentistry. Their practice uses state of the art technology, equipment, and best dental practices. Dr Kimball has stellar dental expertise and always answers all my questions about dental procedures thoroughly and honestly. He and all his hygienists possess amazing bedside manner. I always feel in very skilled hands and all his staff truly goes above and beyond in caring for my dental health. I highly recommend his practice for all your dental needs.
Dr. Kimball and his staff at Westside Dentistry are amazing! From the ease of scheduling an appointment with Liz to the utmost care when performing any dental procedures. Very BAD experience. I made an appointment for myself and my husband for a cleaning and my husband had pain in a tooth. When we arrived we were charged upfront. When I asked what it covered we were told exam, X-rays and dental cleaning. We paid in full. I went in and had extensive X-rays and pictures taken. The dentist came in and looked at my X-rays and examined my teeth. Immediately I was told I needed several implants, crowns, root canal and also would need to have a mesh before I could get the implant because my sinuses are in the way. I became very anxious and depressed about the whole thing. I said I would need a breakdown of those procedures because sounded major. I was then taken out of the room and had a consultation with the person who does their “quotes”. I received a breakdown in the amount of $18,000. They could finance interest free. I would basically have to sell my car in order to get all this done. If I can’t afford the whole amount I could use their finance company at 17% interest. I kept asking when I would get my teeth cleaned and they said they couldn’t because I needed a “deep cleaning”. I showed her the receipt that I had just paid for a basic cleaning but they refused to clean my teeth. My husband came out of his exam and he had to pay $40 extra for a basic cleaning at least he got a cleaning I offered to pay the “extra” but again they refused to clean my teeth. My husband also got an extensive estimate for dental work in the amount of $10,000. Total for both of us $28,000! Both my husband and I have a periodontal specialist that we go to. He has NEVER told us we need all that work. I walked out very depressed and my blood pressure was high when I got home. This place is a scam and a rip off. I only wanted a teeth cleaning. I’ve never had such a bad experience by a “health professional”. On the positive side, if ever my body needs to be identified, they have pictures and X-rays of my teeth.
I have severe anxiety at the dentist, due to a horrible experience as a child. I went to Westside for a cleaning and it turned out that I needed a filling and a wisdom tooth pulled. I was apprehensive and I explained to Dr. H why. She and her assistant Tara were constant professionals and made sure I was comfortable and they checked on me throughout and even after my procedure. I'm very pleased and would recommend Westside dentistry to anyone seeking treatment.
If you are looking for a dentist in El Paso .. look no further ! This place is a gem. Very personable and thorough. Jackie felt like a long lost friend and Doctor Hanin is sweet and kind. The combo had me feeling relaxed and confident! Thank you girlies !!! Patient for life here
My initial experience with westside dentistry was good. Sadly that did not last. Having worked in the dental field for the Navy, I had a pretty good idea of what it was that was being done. My issue was that they requested that I do a deep cleaning after having had a claim turned down for doing unnecessary procedures as deemed by my insurance multiple times. I would normally say it was the insurance at fault, but I pay top dollar and spoke to them at length to understand why the procedure was not necessary. I told westside dentistry I was hard up on money as it was during the pandemic and would prefer a regular cleaning for the time being. They denied me that cleaning and when I asked if they believed that no cleaning is better than some cleaning, they refused to answer the question. I then asked to speak to Doctor Stephen and was denied multiple times by almost all his staff. Westside dentistry is a money grab office that favors profits over patients.
Well, I’m pretty sure between my wife and I we have now spent more money fixing Dr Kimballs mistakes than we actually spent with him which is saying something. It’s so hard to know anything about a dentist before you spend the money, but, now we know. My wife has had a crown replaced, a root canal redone after suffering serious pain. Cleanings and a basic fillings might be fine but there is a reason there are specialists in dentistry!
Dr Kimball, you have a great team, "Outstanding". It appears as if you all huddle each morning, For a great wonderful day and it carrys over to your patience. From the entrance with Lizbeth, so courteous, friendly, professional, and most of all confidence. Then, the assistance in the back Melissa who gets you ready. She too had the same qualities, answer all my questions very pleasant, patient, and confidence as well. I felt assured that all is well and will all be alright. The lady who also does the teeth cleaning hygienist can't remember her name very friendly and professional. Everyone is great, an incredible team. Dr. Hanin, Jackie, and Monique were absolutely amazing. They made me comfortable and focused on helping me. Superb service! Everyone should consider this team!
