I cannot say enough of how absolutely beautiful my dad's services were! The ENTIRE staff at Leber were simply amazing! From the moment you pulled in to the parking lot they made you feel so comfortable and at ease during a very difficult time. The room was truly a "celebration of life"! Every intricate detail was just so professional & everyone who was in attendance couldn't stop talking about how it was like no other service they had ever been to! To Patrick, Matthew, Barbara, Bryan & others THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

All of the staff at Leber, particularly Patrick and Matt, are extremely professional, caring, and attentive to detail. They do everything possible to ensure that the life celebration for your loved one is absolutely perfect and even surprise you with little extras to make the celebration more personal.  Growing up in Hudson County, I had my first introduction to the Leber family at one of their original funeral homes where I witnessed many beautiful traditions that most funeral homes no longer include. When I first met Patrick, he immediately understood that I wanted to include many of these “old school” traditions and not only accommodated them, but made additional suggestions that made the celebration even more special.  The staff goes above and beyond doing everything they can to help you during a very difficult time. From the moment we walked into the funeral home, we were greeted with kindness and understanding by the staff. The passing of our mother was a difficult time for our family, but the exceptional service and support provided by Matt, Barbara, Patrick, and the entire staff made a significant difference in our grieving process.  The attention to detail was outstanding, from the custom photos on blankets and banners to the touching slideshow that was put together to celebrate our mother's life. Every aspect of the funeral was handled with great care, and the staff ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on remembering and honoring our mother.  What impressed us the most was the level of empathy and support provided by Matt, Barbara, Patrick, and the entire team. They truly understood the weight of our loss and went out of their way to offer comfort and assistance every step of the way. Matt, Patrick and Barbara were so easy to work with. Everyone was kind and very helpful during this difficult time. My Father's celebration of life was done beautifully and how they put it all together. Leber made the process more comfortable.

Leber is your best choice and you won't regret your decision.  My mother unexpectedly passed away and was brought to a different funeral. After several unsympathetic, and somewhat pushy conversations, my family went on a fact-finding mission. My brother spoke with Matt from Leber who was SO helpful, not trying to win the business but simply help answer some timely questions we had. After that conversation, we decided to move our mother to Leber.  Everyone we spoke to there was sympathetic and kind. They truly tried to know our mother so they could best represent her during the celebration of life. Leber absolutely goes above and beyond people's expectations, while being kind and caring to losing a loved one. They do not miss a single detail and took care of our every need/request with a smile.  I cannot say enough good things about this company and their entire staff.

Leber Funeral Home was fantastic!  They did a great job with all the details making it as easy as possible for our family.  The facilities were great and everyone we interacted with was kind, understanding, compassionate, and professional.   We really appreciate all they did for our family.

The Leber team was outstanding and so professional in their services from delivery to follow up with details.  Their keepsakes were amazing and a great tribute to my Brother's life.  So personal and great in terms of navigation of family dynamics especially in terms of making the day special for all ages in attendance.

Patrick, Matt and the entire staff at Leber did an amazing job honoring my step-dad's last wishes. He was on hospice care and passed away at home late in the evening on a Sunday night.  Their staff arrived in under and hour to remove his body and did so with care and respect.  The transport bag had an American flag on it because he was a Veteran. I was very moved by that.  My dad wanted everything to be simple, no wake, no funeral service and he wanted to be cremated.  The staff at Leber handled everything with compassion and professionalism. I was very pleased with their service and highly recommend them.

My sport loving husband Curt passed away in early June 2023 and since the cemetery was nearby, I choose Leber to provide the services.  I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about William J Leber Funeral Home in Chester, NJ.  Matt and Pat compassionately and professionally walked me through the whole process while addressing any concerns I had.  They did such an AMAZING job presenting and arranging and displaying our photos and memorabilia of Curt.  They were patient with me when I was having technical difficulties, and yet, everything was absolutely perfect.  Even their suggested pastor, Father Owen, was outstanding. With only having a simple 30 min conversation with me, he was able to really figure out who Curt was and express it so eloquently.  Matt and Pat's astute attention to extra details is to be highly commended. From the photo CD played during the wake to the pictures included within the guest register book, their service was impeccable. After they selected several of our photos, they actually created Orioles/Giants "game tickets" with his birth and death dates as the Section, Row and Seat.  They also made a beautiful trifold with our top 18 picture and they even took it upon themselves to put Camden Yards his favorite baseball park as the background of his profile in the obituary. And to make things even more personalized, they allowed us to use his playlist from his pandora account for the background music during the wake.  They also made a fantastic 3' x 6' long vinyl photo "sports banner" using 25 or so photos AND they made a high-quality blanket with our family pictures on it and hung both of these on each side of the casket!  And they even allowed me to provide my own plants that I could take and use at my home rather than a bunch of "funeral flowers".  It was simply unexpected and unbelievable!  I thank them from the bottom of my heart for making the room feel more like visiting a ballpark museum than a depressing funeral home.  They took a situation that was so sad and removed the sting from it.  I honestly can't thank them enough!  If you find yourself in need of a funeral home, and you want professionalism, compassion, empathy and a true celebration of life, then William J Leber funeral home is the place for you!

We used the Leber Funeral Home for my brothers service in 2018 and my mom this past February. Pat and Matt were professional, accommodating, sincere, and caring from start to finish. Attention to detail and comfort throughout the process were all there. The treatment and service we received was excellent.
