Overall we enjoyed our time at the Will-o-wood campground. There were a few issues during our stay though. As soon as we arrived, our power hook up kept popping and we had to use an alternate cord. The next morning I wanted a shower and apparently the hot water heater was out. Be prepared to pay for your showers. Bring quarters. The bath house was also not all that nice. One toilet barely flushed, the second was wet around the base the whole time and the 3rd had no lock on the door. This place is pet friendly and the majority of the sites were pretty private. The pool was nice and the playground was great.
This is a decent camp ground. I found my lot very spacious which was awesome. My only ik was that I didn’t have US change for showers since I’m Canadian and the camp store wouldn’t tack on a buck to my credit card purchase to give me some. I was told to find a bank machine. Bring US change!! There is a pool but I didn’t use it. It is very close to lake Willoughby about 2km which is such a beautiful lake with super clear water and a white Sandy beach. There were some quaint snack bars and The Gap was the closest Resto/ pub see my review For a rainy day activity we drove to St Johnsbury which was a beautiful drive and a great place for a good coffee and a little walk around.
Affordable campsites. The manager was very helpful. Will definitely come back if I ever get a chance to return to Vermont.
We are camping there and owners are awesome and very friendly nice and quite place. Showers are nice and. Hot too definitely recommend them
Nice campground,a little tight spots but a good place.
Great staff. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. Pool and play structures for the kids. Great activities. Camped here twice this year, and plan on at least one more stay before the camping season ends.
Friendly staff, place was very busy, people were happy & seemed comfortable. They showed us to our campsite and made sure we were all set before leaving. Supplied all directions and price was very easy on the bank. Well worth it, will be continuously camping at this location. Very pleased
Kid and pet friendly. Great staff, plenty of amenities at the store. Awesome weekend.
Overall experience was not bad.... We followed the rules to the best we could.... wish the other guest would have as well the camp ground it’s self was clean and friendly other guest were loud and stayed awake really late like 3 am late which was a pain... constant children running threw our camp site which was a rule not to this cause my dogs to bark like crazy and your suppose to keep you dogs quiet. The beach was not too far away and the pool at the camp ground was constantly packed full... all in all tho great place to go with covid 19 going on I didn’t see a ton of out of staters, would be nice to be a little further away from other sites, privacy was very low!!
Very friendly, welcoming, and helpful owners. The camp ground is very clean and spacious. It is located just a couple minutes up the road from lake Willoughby. A small store is located at the office along with a large pool and a wifi connection. There are many tent and RV sites. The bathrooms are clean and showers are available.
