The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union reserves the right to block any Facebook user and remove any comments that are inappropriate or offensive; including, but not limited to:

• Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation.
• Explicit or implied sexual content.
• Conduct implying, promoting, or encouraging illegal activity.
• Information that might compromise the safety or security of the public.
• Any other post that, by its nature or content, is argumentative, harassing, or disruptive.
• Contain links to inappropriate websites.
The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union is an association of police officers convened for the mutual benefit of its members. Our membership shall consist of all full-time, permanent police officers, excluding the ranks of sergeant, lieutenant, deputy chief and chief. Our goals are to obtain and promote a healthy and harmonious workplace environment, to fairly represent each member in their employment as a Wilmington Police Officer, and to promote the organization’s standing in the community through civic and charitable activities. Our membership is represented in its endeavors by a democratically elected executive board consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union is a local affiliate of the New England Police Benevolent Association Inc.
