"Windermere Equestrian Center, Inc was established in 1983. We have always trained students with a hands on policy. To be a true horseman you must spend time with the animal on the ground. Students who only ride miss out on the joy, friendship, and connection with the horse which can only be developed through working with horses in all aspects of horsemanship — stable management, grooming, health care, ground training and riding."

We have been coming here for over five years for riding lessons. The instructors are the best around and they are building a new structure. I highly recommend.
My girls had a great time with thier Girl Scout troop. Learned a lot.
Windermere is the best place ever! First of all, there is a great, kind community formed here with coaches and kids alike! Secondly, the instructors are amazing teachers! My instructor Mrs. Jen has gotten me over anxiety of jumping and gives great analogies about riding so you can really apply what she’s saying to your body. Mrs. Jen adapts her teaching each and ever time you ride depending on the circumstances. She never “screams” like people reviewed. She may make her voice louder so you can hear her 100 ft. away but that’s expected! I can tell from the other reviews that the kids and adults did not know how barns work. Mrs. Jen is just trying to keep everyone safe. She works so hard and doesn’t take vacations or holidays off. If she isn’t teaching she’s in the office working. Mrs.Jen looks out for safety of all the horses and people. All of the instructors are great with horses and teaching. The horses are very trained and we have a horse for every riding level from your first day to 10 years of riding! Windermere is such a great place to learn horsemanship and to track how far you’ve come. I love this place and wouldn’t of chosen any other place to ride at!

I took my Granddaughter here for lessons and was impressed! Emma was her instructor, she was very attentive and engaged! The grounds are nice, the attitude is friendly and welcoming. Look forward to coming back!!
Both my daughters ride here! This is their happy place. They look forward to their lessons every week. They love the instructors and all their barn friends, both two-legged and 4-legged variety.
My daughter is 5 and just completed Pony Pals I. She had a great time and is so excited to start the next set of lessons. There is nothing really fancy about this facility, and that's why I love it so much, however the lessons are still good quality and age appropriate. Thanks for a great experience!
Windermere is a wonderful place for children and adults to learn how to ride. They make sure you learn everything the correct way and have many staff on hand. Everyone one is very friendly, you don’t have to be afraid to asks questions. I would highly recommend Windermere.
My daughter has been going to this place for 3 years . Never had a problem till this year staff was very rude. The instructor who was teaching the girls to ride nice . As for others will just say a helper that probably shouldn’t be with people let alone animals . Wow all I can say . My money will be going for private lessons else where which makes me sad .just Sad like if u don’t like your job don’t work there . This is r money keeping u open . I did get a phone call and I’ll say talking to that lady , very nice . So just hope they cut out all the yuck in there with bad attitudes . Your working with kids . Chill. But thank u for the call back and making me feel better . U guys r great. Thank u
