I am. traveling nurse and I look up facilities on google. So i look this place up and if you are not a loyalty member u basically have to wait on a dryer if there are none that are not labeled loyally card only or the one that say out of order. So i got $20 worth of coins so i’m standing waiting on a dryer so i went and ask the young lady what do u have to do to get a loyalty card i don’t live here and it really doesn’t make sense to get one well of course she ignored anything i had to say hand me a card said go over there and load it i told her i have all these coins i just got from there can we change it out she said no took the card back and walk away.
Barely any space to get around,many dryers have a sign up. Which leaves you with not many options when it's busy other then that, the machines do a good job. 4$ per 18lbs wash 25c per 4mins dryer
Support staff was friendly. But, it was clear that they were in business primarily to do laundry for people. I was on vacation and only needed to do 1 load of laundry. Several of the machines were marked “loyalty cards” only. When I inquired, I was told that I needed to purchase a minimum of a $25 card “Loyalty Card”. Disappointing. I was directed to coin operated machines. About 1/3 of the machines were taken by their employees doing customer laundry. At least another 1/3 were limited to “loyalty” customers only. That left the rest in f us scrambling to grab one of the few remaining machines that weren’t broken. Last point - The dryers on “high” temperature take a lot longer than most machines that I’ve used on medium. I will not return here.
This is by far the BEST laundromat in the area. They are always so friendly, prompt, and reasonably priced compared to others close by. I do want to give a special shout-out to Kate. She is beyond amazing. Thank you for being that one person everyone needs to know and come in contact with. You’re that person that can brighten someone’s day.
I am a first time user of Winn Street, Laundry Center, I couldn’t be more pleased. My laundry was returned in a wonderful clean & fresh presentation, meticulously folded with the best of customer service dropping off and picking up. A marvelous experience for me.
Update: had a much better experience this week and the dryers were fixed. Staff was also very nice: Half of the dryers are out of order and the rest of them are labeled "staff only". I wouldn't consider this place a laundromat for the public when it is basically only staff use.
Clean and friendly. Staff on premises are beyond helpful..... Best around. Beware that dryers are slow - takes a full 40 minutes to get even a small to medium load mostly dry. Elderly and COVID-19 vulnerable should be aware that some staff are unvaxxed and masks appear to be optional at this time despite high infection rates in area. Parking is convenient - a big plus.... Washing machines are all modern front-loaders and perform well.
First of all, it smells like heaven in there! Every employee I have encountered is the sweetest! Fast and friendly service. Excellent prices, lovely staff, would recommend.
I brought the cushions for my glider here to be dry cleaned. They were done ahead of schedule and the price was very fair. I recommend them for all dry cleaning needs.
Clean. Busy. With a major flaw. The washers all are pre-set for Quick Wash, with NO warning, or instructions on how to get the longer, more thorough wash you might need. After your load auto-starts on the drop of the last quarter or swipe of your laundromat FasCard, you’re out of luck. Have to start a SECOND wash, or leave with your still slightly funky laundry. You are warned.
