This is a very cool museum. Between the history of the church and Winston Churchill, it's a very unique experience. You can even go into the church. I recommend going on a bright and sunny day. The church will light up with the natural light and it's beautiful. Churchill's life is also very fascinating to study. I hadn't learned of his career before WW2 and it was interesting how he predicted Hitler's plans. I'd highly recommend this to anyone interested in architecture or WW2 history.
An amazing piece of history right here in central missouri. Churchill gave his Iron Curtain speech here with President Harry S Truman. Ronald Reagan asked Gorbachev to tear down the wall and so much more happened right here on campus. The church was bombed out in England and eventually flown piece by piece overs here to Missouri to create this beautiful national memorial. A piece of the Berlin Wall stands on campus too. The sculpture was made by Churchill’s granddaughter. A must see spot. Check out the museum inside the Christopher Wren designed church.
Such a hidden gem! Why is this not more widely known across the state?! Great, interactive exhibits about Churchill and his times. We took kids 8 & 11 who also thoroughly enjoyed it. If you show up close to closing, you can go in free, but it does take close to two hours to do it justice. I believe they said that a ticket is valid for 24 hours so you can come back the next day to explore some more. Tasty tip--hit the Fulton Wurst House while you're in the area.
Spent 3 hours inside without realizing. Time seemed to fly by. The layout is perfect and if you are a history lover this is a must!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entry$11–15

Have driven by on the interstate for years, seen signs, and never stopped it's only 7 miles. What a delightful place! A rebuilt Christopher Wren designed English church and a new museum underneath opened in 2017. Large section of the Berlin Wall there too. Churchill exhibits and memorabilia are fascinating. Even have some of his paintings. Well worth the stop!
This was a wonderful museum. We were pleasantly surprised. We only got through the permanent exhibit of the life of Churchill. They have a couple of other exhibits on rotation. There is also a small gift shop across from the ticket booth. The staff were very kind and helpful. Parents of William woods students and students are Free. Currently $12 for adults. There is a discou.t for children and seniors. We spent just under 2 hours reading everything in the permanent exhibit about Churchhill's life. It has a lot of detail on World War I and even more of WWII. There are a few steps down as you come in. They have a wheelchair lift to get down to the main museum floor. You can access the St. Mary's church from the spiral staircase in the middle of the museum. There is also a piece of the Berlin wall in the Plaza in front of the church. There is free reserved parking right across the street on the east side of the museum. Entrance to the museum is on the southeast corner of the church.
Beautiful museum and great tour. I really enjoyed learning all about Churchill and his life.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
