That's one of my favourite places to come it's quiet kick back very family oriented.. Couple good sized barbecues plenty of seating for outside outdoor parties and stuff. It'd be great if you had a couple of gazebos or if they even did a covered part for the seating area though. Great place to relax and enjoy the scenery plenty of shade .
Beautiful!! Two basketball goals so it has a full court.
Leeland's birthday party. The kids had a blast.
They close the bathrooms during winter, the cops come at 5:45 am and write tickets when the parks open at 6!am, and I just saw the cop they have dedicated to the parks roll through with her search lights on at 7 pm when parks don’t close until 10. Somebody’s relative must live close to here for the police to pay so much attention to a park that’s been quiet my time I’ve driven past it.
My grandson had a ball, we'll mostly definitely be back!!
Nice soccer field and 1 of the few close places with a basketball court in good condition
Went here on a whim looking for some where to take my 5 yr old and trying to get her wiggles out. Unfortunately, this park was quite dated with very little to offer. There was a homeless man napping on the bench... for me is not usually a problem but it was the closest bench to the play ground. This discouraged me from venturing farther from my daughter in order to sit while she played. There was on the other hand plenty of space to run.
Great place if you ignore what appear to be drug deals happening in the bathroom area, the fights between the homeless living there or any other potentially dangerous situation from the people occupying the place. Definitely do not let your kids near the bathroom area or in the bathrooms, I can not imagine there is any measure of safety in them. Regardless of what anyone is saying, there is a thriving level people who reside here and simply come right back every time the city removes them or their garbage. Again, the bathrooms cannot be safe. Not sure why the city does t simply demolish and remove the bathrooms and the old pool area.
This is a good park to take kids for a nice time. Besides swings and a small play are, there is an unique play area that the kids really enjoyed climbing on and sliding down. There is also a basketball court and a large grassy area that the kids can run around and kick a ball. It's well maintained and sits in a residential area with lots of parking around it. We will visit again. The only thing I did not like, no doors on the bathroom stalls.
Restrooms are always closed so better bring a bottle or a bucket. Basketball courts are a bit rough but manageable. The kids love it though. There's a big rock they love climbing on.
