I went with North Guana Outpost for their bioluminescence trip and it was one of the most memorable experiences I've had in a kayak. The guides were excellent and the trip exceeded expectations. This is an amazing trip, great value and a short drive from Jacksonville. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to go kayaking. Their guides are smart and funny. Their kayak launch is one of a kind. Get into a portion of the Guana river that has no other access except at North Guana outpost. They have excellent taste in the items for sale are top notch. Fishing gear tackle bait hey have it all.

For my first solo kayaking adventure it was ok. Very shallow river and since the storms came in the reeds are incredibly thick in some areas, almost impassable.

I went on the bioluminescent kayak tour with North Guana Outpost and it was an amazing experience.  The guides were fantastic, the gear was all in great shape, the luminescent jelly fish were magical. Added bonus we saw a SpaceX Rocket take off in the sky as we floated surrounded by luminescent jellies. Science as pure magic!

We didn’t get to rent Kayaks, the day we went the winds were too strong. But it was a Wednesday and they have a discount on Wednesdays so the price would’ve been great for our large group.  The owner is super sweet and works with her mom who is also sweet. They place has a great selection of outdoor gear, some real cute stuff for kids and some very good quality outdoor clothes. Like the bamboo SPF 50 shirt I got. LOVE IT!  They also have a selection of boards, sunglasses, fishing and sun gear. Small building but a good selection and not cramped inside.  Bummed we couldn’t Kayak or paddle board, but I’m sure we would’ve had a blast.

Bought my second board from here, and have had such wonderful experiences both times!  If you haven’t tried the flying fish boards out, you are in for a very pleasant surprise.  They are sooooo lightweight, and aqua dynamic!  Give em a gander, and be good to these beautiful souls.

Absolutely best kayaking experience ever! Took my son and 2 friends out for 3 hours. Was great equipment and an even better price. Quick access to some nice paddling, and beautiful nature views of the Guana Preserve

Gail and all the staff are awesome!  They take the time to answer all of your questions. They are all very knowledgeable. Felt very confident with my paddle board purchase   Thank you NGO!
