Accidental find after school on a 100°day. No one was there. Peaceful, well ķept with nice scenery from the architecture of surrounding homes. Shady & so charming...felt like a backyard oasis. I Love how there's so many parks in Texas that encourage wellness & remind you of the little joys of life...this one does at least for me Playground: Well kept hidden Gem Dog-friendliness: Bags for The Poop Picnic area: Multiple benches and picnic area beautifully shaded with some Crepe Myrtles.
A fine little park ! Perfect for a picnic and not to mention a playground for the little ones to get all the wiggles out !
One of the few, shaded playgrounds in the area. Perfect for those hot summer days.
This park has always been a big factor in my life. I live right next door to the park and would always walk right past it. The park isn't all that big, but size doesn't really matter. The main attraction of course is the actual playground with slides and swings while its shaped as a ship. But there are other parts of the park that might catch ones eye. The giant field of the park is a great place to have a picnic, a birthday party or even a Frisbee competition. Look closely at the small boxes right near the road. They use to have posters on them that use to show amazing pictures of nature. One can just imagine the splendor it brought to a child's mind seeing the great big world. And don't forget about the small section of the park that not a lot of people go to. Right next to the sign lays a small field that can easily be used as a place to play tag and maybe even a Nerf war.
