Walk-ins welcomed…. Welcomed to walk in and make an appointment for another day because they’re booked the rest of the week. Update: I went to my appointment for a teeth cleaning. The dentist refused to do a regular cleaning, because he was recommending a deep cleaning, which was more than four times the cost of my last cleaning with my insurance. I’m going to look for a different dentist.
I've been a patient with this office for over six years. Obviously I have been keeping up with my cleanings and check ups every six months. I just recently scheduled an appt. for a cleaning and the clerk just advised me that " I have to see the dentist" even though I just need a cleaning. I just saw the dentist 3 months ago for a crown on one of my teeth. Everything is fine, no pain, no discomfort. I just need a cleaning, but they want to charge me for the dentist to see me. Vanessa, the office manager is very rude. This is robbery, not healthcare. Very disappointed in Xpress Dental. Thanks, but no thanks.
I went in recently for an appt and had a great experience. I was set for 4pm and was taking in promptly to get started. The staff seemed friendly and not rushed, I was able to know my co-pays before even starting a cleaning/exam. The hygienist was super friendly and often checked if I was okay while doing a deep cleaning. Will continue coming here as needed.
Dr. Tan and staff took great care of me as a Friday afternoon walk-in with severe tooth pain. They worked together like a well oiled machine to treat my needs and get me back on my feet in a timely manner. I will definitely be returning.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR ROOT CANALS OR CROWNS. I had some complications with BOTH the root canal and the crown I had done here. To start off, they take FOREVER. I was waiting in the room for 3+ hours. Assistants kept opening and closing the door, & during the actual root canal the assistant kept running out of the room, it just seemed like they didn’t know what they were doing. Not to mention Dr. Tan was being visibly aggressive with the assistant, talking to her in an annoyed voice & snatching things rudely from her hands. It made me uncomfortable. What surprised me was how the procedure itself took only 10 min??? I’ve had root canals done before and they usually take around 30min-1 hr. I guess this should’ve been a huge red flag during that time. Also the fact that they rushed me out the door. This was my experience DURING the treatment. After was when everything went downhill. A few days went by and I was still feeling pain on the tooth I had the root canal and crown done. So I called to get it checked out. Dr. Tan said it was the crown that was too high so he adjusted it and told me to wait a week for inflammation to go down. I went in TWICE after this. & they said and did the same thing. After a couple weeks I didn’t want to seem like THAT annoying patient to I just sucked it up and took some pain killers for the pain and hoped it fixed itself on its own along the way. It wasn’t until a month went by and the pain just got worse, and It had moved to my ear and I started getting headaches with a fever. I scheduled at another office and they told me I had a progressed infection in the SAME TOOTH I GOT THE ROOT CANAL AND CROWN DONE. Apparently Dr. Tan had left behind a piece of nerve that ultimately led to an infection. When I called the office, I was told I could not get a refund, but that they can re-do the Root Canal. I was furious, no way I wanted that Dr. to do any treatment on me anymore. The amount I had to pay out of pocket was a lot, for it to be done incorrectly. Unfortunately, I had to get my tooth pulled. It was such an exhausting experience. I came to this office because it was the only one open on weekends, but honestly just wait the extra day for a different office with a dentist that will actually do the job right. I was also told that they will literally harass you and question you if they find out you left a bad review, the only reason I didn’t put my actual name was because my daughter still comes here for her cleanings. The hygienists are wonderful, and I wouldn’t want them to deny my daughter as a patient. But anyways, I hope my experience warns whoever is considering getting treatment done here. Just don’t.
So far so Good.... The professionalism in phone etiquette I just received placing my daughters appointments was top notch. I don't know why I felt I had to put up with Rodeo for so long. I'd forgotten what it felt like to feel welcomed. Thank you.
I always appreciate that Dr. Tan and his staff are very respectful of our time by seeing us at our appointment time. The staff are very communicative, courteous, and very pleasant!
Dishonest, rude, and racist staff. Steer clear at all costs. One of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had at any sort of health service. My gums were also bleeding for days afterwards.
If truly an emergency don't try this place says emergency and walk-ins welcomed is advertising but they were not taking walk-ins. Receptionist were very nice but that was all.
I'm writing this review to complain about Vanessa, who is the insurance clerk and supposedly the office manager too. She is rude, patronizing, and impatient. I called to ask her questions about my treatment and insurance, but she did not explain anything to me, not even what my share of charge was. Instead, she refused to answer any of my questions, and said she would call my insurance the day before my appointment. I said "Today is the day before, why can't you just call my insurance right now?". She refused. I told her I was very disappointed with her service, and she did not even acknowledge my statement. She just said, "Okay sir" and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to the office manager, and they transferred me to her. When she answered, I asked, "Are you also the office manager?" She pretended she couldn't hear me and proceeded to hang up. I called back a third time and asked to speak to Dr. Tan. Again, I was transferred to Vanessa, and I told her I needed to speak to the doctor. She told me that he was busy, but even so, Dr. Tan does not talk to patients on the phone. That I would need to talk to him when I came for my appointment. And yet again, she hung up on me. She has no business dealing with people. I have read other posts that complain about the office staff, yet Dr. Tan does not seem to care. Needless to say, we will not return to his office. They will be losing five patients.
