Training course designed to improve strength and endurance for Obstacle Course Racing and overall physical fitness.
Obstacle course racing is a growing sport and recreation, with events popping up both locally and regionally. Whether you want to compete at a high level, run for fun or with a group of friends, or just try something different, our training facility and classes can get you ready. All levels of fitness are welcome, as we are here to help you learn the technical training and build endurance and strength to give you the skills it takes to conquer obstacles safely and effectively.
Suggested attire for obstacle class:
1) Shoes with grip, such as trail, OCR, or similar.
2) Tight fitting gloves with grip -- football receiver gloves, or other work gloves. The ropes and outdoor equipment may be rougher than what you're used to!
3) Shin coverings -- longer tights, compression sleeves or knee-hi socks. Unless you are proficient at climbing ropes with just your upper body strength, these will save your shins from massive rope burns.
4) Bottle or jug of water, especially during the summer months.
All classes are instructor led unless otherwise noted. Open workout available during class hours, but classes get right-of-way for space and equipment.
Drop-in Fee: $5
10 Class Pass: $40
