We have made this a yearly trip for the last 3 years. Sometimes 2 times a year. We have stayed in the full hookups pull through red carpet sites, water, and electric grass sites, and in one of the premium cabins by the pool. A golf cart rental is almost a must, depending on what part of the park you stay. Our daughter loves the spash park and jump pillow since she was 2. This year now 5, she was able to go on the water slides and had more fun. They have been very accommodating.
The idea of this place is amazing, but overall the experience was just okay at best. Upon arrival we already had to disagree with our neighboring trailer site and had to get the employees involved because our patio and electrical was being used by them. We asked to switch spots altogether because of the altercations that occurred but nothing could be done as they were booked out. The spots are small and on top of each other; so long story short, hopefully your neighbors are respectful and mind their allotted space. The golf carts are a great idea in theory but it feels sketchy driving your golf cart and/or car on a small and shared road amongst everyone including the children/adults on bikes, etc. that cut you off and don’t pay attention to anything. It seems like a huge liability me because apparently everyone is allowed free reign to do whatever here despite the posted signs. There is no recourse for not obeying the rules. I had multiple near misses unfortunately. Lastly, there are a lot of amenities, however they are only open during select hours and basically choose when to close because the hours end at “dusk”. In my experience with this facility, “dusk” means 7 or sooner even during peak summer when the sun doesn’t fully go down until 9pm. “Quiet” hours are listed from 11pm-8am but I am sitting here at almost 1am and people are still being loud and doing whatever they please. Long story short, come here if you don’t mind random facility hours, sardine-cramped sites, and neighbors who can and will do whatever they please at all hours of the night/day. Not entirely worth it for the price they ask.
A great place to stay! We enjoyed our stay this past weekend at the park. I felt like the camp sites were very well maintained, staff was very friendly and the amenities made it feel so welcoming! We enjoyed the water park and activities they put together for all the families. We made sure to try everything from laser tag, to the ice cream at mountainview sweets. There was something to do for everyone at all times of our stay. I will be back and will always recommend to all my friends & family. Super shout out to Jennifer in reservations for helping us with our reservation!
Visited Jellystone Park to see what it's all about. Was surprised to find a water park here as wasn't aware of any in the area. It is intimate, but has a water tower that dumps water on you and the kiddos had a great time playing in it. The lazy river is calming, just wish it was longer and never ending! I didn't try the grille but it looks good, and enjoyed a reasonably price drink during happy hour from 4-6pm. The resort was clean, the reservation staff were awesome, answered all my questions and let me take a tour of the park. Will definitely be back for a short stay to check out the night life!
Great place! First time here and our kids love it. It's like you're camping next to a giant water park. But it can be spread out. I see why a lot of people rent golf carts to get around. We had our bikes with us and was close enough to everything that it was fine. FYI the bathrooms do have free showers but they are cold. Mini golf is great in the morning as it gets hot over there, but keep in mind you have to buy your balls from the registration. Charging a Tesla was pretty easy at the campsite, I think using an EV to tow a camper here would be extremely easy. A few things I wish management would fix: the bathrooms have motion sensing lights, which tend to cut off when you're in a stall or in the shower. Also the bathrooms don't have paper towels so there's no clean way to open the door back outside without grabbing the handle. They should put in those things to use your feet to open the door. Also there should be stairs leading down to the mini golf.
It was our first time here and the kids loved it! So many fun things to do for the kids, you’ll be busy all day long. Water park is great, duck race is cute to watch and even give ribbons/prizes to top 3 winners, playground/jumping pillows is awesome, art/crafts always going on and everything is just a short bike ride away. Food, desserts, mini golf, general store and laundry on site. Just be sure to bring cash for the shaved ice cart by the pool. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon!
We had a ton of fun with the kids. The water park, mini golf, laser tag, and of course roasting marshmallows at our campfire. It’s got full hookups. They have a lot of activities all throughout the day. The staff is friendly in the park, and the campground. The store however it’s a coin toss on who you get at the counter. One lady was very short with us and they don’t give out receipts.
So incredibly windy... apparently all summer! Camping spots are very close to each other... No privacy. very open to everything as in no trees or separation from the next spot. Nowhere comfortable to pitch a tent other than on a bed of rocks. They should remove all camping and just offer cabins. Grass stripes are equally hard and uncomfortable. Also only saw Yogi zoom by once. They have a daily schedule but it's 50/50 chance of it happening. Clean facilities. Not sure if it's worth the costs. My kid had a good time tho. Mini golf was great. One suggestion: stepping stool in the restroom for the kids to reach the sink and soap. High sinks for a kids resort.
This place has really gone down hill. The facility is nicely revamped mini golf, new store, new water park, grill, etc but the caliber of people camping has gotten ugly. This is touted as a family environment; two adult campers who rented a cabin tried to circle my 10 year old son and take his bike. When my husband walked around the corner they stopped but they were trying to intimidate a 10 year old! Also there is no longer a gate that is fully patrolled 24/7 so camps that are meant to have no more than 6-8 individuals have 25+ and are parties complete with non-family friendly music, alcohol and drugs. I will not bring my children back to Yogi again. We attempted to have the staff help regulate the people who had 16 cars parked at one unit, they move the cars for 5 minutes and were right back there as soon as the staff left. We packed up our stuff and left a full day early and no refund was given either.
Been here a bunch of times! Both with my travel trailer and rented a cabin a few times. It is amazing for family memories. They have a pool open all year long, little activities 90% of the time, a store, putt putt golf, playgrounds, etc. Our family loves, loves it. I have kids 6, 3 and 1 and it keeps them busy. The staff is also great with kids with photo ops with Yogi and the gang. I even love movie nights in which you get to watch a movie on a big screen outside.
