The team working at the store and the store in general are great. They have all types of tools and machinery from hydraulic presses to electric multi tools. The staff are helpful and sorted me out very quickly. I purchased one of their hydraulic presses. I would definitly come here again. Been here a few more times from my previous 5 star review. I guess I got lucky because every other time dealing with these guys. I’ve had really slow service and got recommended the wrong replacement parts.
Not very helpful. After ordering and paying for product, sales person I worked with did not call me back and dit not answer my email so courier can be arranged. Inconvenient..maybe Adendorff not the problem but the sales person?
I purchased a compressor in November month last year Then January month I had to take it for repair cause it just stopped working They told me its the pump that was fixed. I fetched it Two months later I'm again there with a problem on my compressor They told me the motor blown Just to find out afterwards the pump was actually again the problem Both times I had to hire a compressor for 2 weeks 3k I had to give out Now another 3k the second time I bought a might welder that also packed in after the second time I used it Its now standing by them almost a month They going back and forth with me cause of the slip I showed them proof of payment And proof of when I bought it cause I took a photo that day They still not fixing my problem The store manager knows about it Ethan knows about it They keep saying they will call me back then I must call them I have rust work standing that I need to repair They don't know what money Damagers they are doing to my small business I am very very disappointed They still have my welder there. Who can I speak to I've lost so much money because of this.
This was my first time buying at Adendorff. I was looking for a heavy duty wheelbarrow and decided on the Lasher. I phoned them 2 different times and spoke to 2 different people telling me 'yes we do have the heavy duty one in stock' with certainty after i asked a few times are they sure. We came there and we bought 2. First not all the nuts were given. 2nd just to come home and realize is was the 'domestic use' one not the heavy duty. I made sure with the assistent helping me behind the counter aswell and they assured me its the right one. So we phoned them and after a whole debate they told me sorry they were wrong they don't have the heavy duty one I'm looking for. We drove there to return the wheelbarrows after we told them we are coming this morning oh sorry they don't have cash to refund we must come back later. And we did go back in the afternoon and same story. Literally won't ever buy here again even if it is the last place standing.
I specifically ask the salesman the following - I'm looking for a handheld vacuum brake bleeder, priced at R325.00.he the salesman ordered a employee to collect the item from the shelf ,a white box was handed to me - price was R285.00 - i paid and left for home - it was not the item I requested - it was inferior to the item i requested.stripped the car brakes only to find the vacuum pump does not work. Very disappointing.
Very rude staff member at the back of the store, I brought an item in which had ceased working but was under guarantee, all I got was a mouthful of why did you do that why didn't you do that. Bit of common respect would be nice. Don't think I'll be back at this store again.
Friendly, efficient and have an amazing selection. Will definitely be going back when I need tools.
Oh dear , where do I begin?? Horrible service! The staff walked passed me as if I were a flower, the one guy said he’ll assist me and he never returned. I felt like a potato in a bag of oranges. Stood for 20 mins not being assisted or even approached. Thanks guys!
Nice facility, helpful staff, long delays with new computer system. Some areas a total mess, perhaps unpacking? Wide range of stuff, worth visiting.
Firstly, top quality customer service. Probably some of the best I have experienced from any store in Cape Town. Friendly staff, bought a generator and the cashier took the time to explain to me the does and donts. Extremely insightful. Secondly, the shop itself felt like there was love and care taken into everything that was on offer. It made me want to own tools, weird as it sounds. Excellent.
