These guys are paint specialists, they can mix your colour by just looking at a picture. I was definitely impressed. they are so quick, I bought 2 litres. I am so happy with their paint and service

I had a terrible experience at this branch, one that cost me thousands to correct, and a problem that they were not willing to make right. I bought paint from this branch to paint the entire inside of my house, walls and ceiling. I selected a very light grey for the walls, white for the ceilings, primer, hired a ladder for 2 days, hired painters etc. Painted a small patch, and what came out was a baby blue, nothing like the light grey or any gray for that matter. I didn't have a car that day, so I had to get an uber to get back to the store. When I arrived, nobody was willing to do anything about the fact that the colour they have mixed for me came out completely different than it was supposed to. Not willing to change it, refund it, nothing. Told me I must keep painting because another layer will change the colour and that the light is changing the colour. No matter how many times I told them that it's coming out blue, blue like a baby boy's room. I painted 3 layers, but nothing changed. My whole house was covered in an ugly blue colour. Nobody would ever want to live in a house looking like this. I phoned and complained, went in store the next morning, and was then told that I shouldn't have used all of the paint because they would have changed it for me. But that's not what happened when I tried to return the full cans of paint the previous day. Nobody wanted to help me and I was stuck with the cans I bought. The manager came out to my house to see the paint on the walls himself. Admitted himself that the colour is completely wrong, and that his employees were suppose to correct the problem when I came back with the full cans of paint. His suggestion?: "try another layer" like a forth layer of paint that I will again have to pay for will do anything that the first 3 layers didn't do. His other suggestion: Come to the store, buy double the amount I needed in the first place to cover the space in a colour I like and he will give me discount on the paint I have to buy to paint over their mistake. Not only must I pay for all the paint that was flawed, I had to pay for double labour, extended the ladder I hired for another 2days, lost more time from work etc etc. They didnt take any responsibility for their flawed product. I ended up buying a proper high quality paint, one that I knew would be able to cover the mess this place left me with. This whole process ended up costing me thousands more than I planned, and the fact that I had to redo everything, had to pay more than double for everything from the paint to the painters etc, left me penniless and really disgusted in this place's service. The paint they offer is not a quality paint, and you'll end up redoing the whole job all over with quality paint. And guess what, a quality paint will do in one layer, what 3 layers of this place's paint couldn't do. I experienced this not only on the walls but the ceiling as well. After I used their primer and white paint on my ceilings, again double the amount that is needed usually for the space in square metre, there were still places that didn't come out crisp white and it looked uneven, whiter in some parts than others. Again this was after 3 layers. I then bought plascon, and one layer was able to do what 3 layers and primer of this place's paint couldn't do. Just one layer and it came out in a crisp white. Spare yourself the trouble and the thousands of rand, go and buy quality paint from a place that actually cares about customers that spends thousands in their store. You might have to do this anyway after wasting money on an inferior product, and I promise you, after losing all that money and time, you would also not be a happy camper...
