Africa Lodges Thabazimbi

My boss had the worst stay at your lodge and we will never ever be making use of your service again. He complained about the dirty floor, your security guard was FAST asleep and there was no hot water.Rooms: 1/5

Africa lodge is situated at Thabazimbi and condition is very good, and it's safe with 24/7 and security. Bad they are also comfortable and there's TV and fridge inside the room. I enjoyed to visit there Nearby activities: Thaba complex and Town is close to the Lodge. Safety: There's a security and cameras around the building . Wi-fi: Signal is very bad, but is for the whole town. Food & drinks: Each meal is coming with drinks of ur choice. Their food are very nice and they have good taste.

The lodge definitely needs to hire a professional chef or train their current ‘chefs’. Their kitchen favours guests who stay there for a protracted period. At this point, I wouldn’t recommend it for a leisure visit.

Tried to book 3 x rooms by phoning their number indicated on their website, but nobody answered. Physically drove to their premises the next night, arrived at approximately 21:00, and only found security personnel. Security phoned someone to assist and then gave me the phone. I was then told that there were rooms available, but the person is not there and security is not allowed to give the keys. Needless to say, we then drove to another guesthouse to book the guests in.

The lodge is like hostel. Theres too much noise. When we were at the lodge there was a party till 5am with no security around. I booked for 5days and the sheets were not changed and they were dirty. This place doesn’t deserve 3star rating. The gate of the lodge is not motorised, when one comes back late they have to leave the car and open the gate manually it is very risky. The lodge security guard is already sleeping by 11pm so don’t expect him to open the gate when you come back after 11pm.

There is no security at this place honestly. We always had to manually open the gate for ourselves and when we walked in the “security” was sleeping. Its really not value for money, we booked for a week and our bed sheets were not changed They should lower the rating or improve the service

I travel alot on business and was booked here by my Travel agent. And i was so comfortable, very cosy place to be at. Love the food. Thumbs up to the Chef. Very friendly staff. Home away from home. Thank you Beatrice,always going above and beyond in your job.

Is dirty from the outside but the rooma are better. Wouldn't sleep there again.Rooms: 1/5

It's has not changed since 2008. It needs some revamping. Room 19 aircon not well located.Rooms: 2/5
