I actually had great times and best of memories there Probably nothing to complain about I love and appreciate the view and the peaceful getaway of it in an affordable price You should try it out
Quiet getaway but seriously lacking in hospitality. It almost seemed as if the staff did not know how to run a B & B. We were not welcomed, were not provided with a room key until we asked, no tea in the room, we were not offered dinner, and the room was not serviced at all during our 2 day stay. Most of the the staff was obliging when a request was made, but there was no attention to our needs, and some staff were bordering on rude. We had to ask and initiate everything. Most staff members including the 'manager??'-I still don't know who he is or what his name is were lacking in training and came across as disinterested and discourteous. This lodge could improve if the staff had basic hospitality training. As it is, I seriously doubt we will recommend it or return there any time soon.
the accommodation was so un-tidy, no toilet papers, unsecure rooms, poor service overall. the pool was very dirty, cupboards very full of dust, spider webs in the rooms, bugs all over the place, no cleaning services provided and worse of them all, the wife of the caretaker was preparing breakfast on her pijays! what a worst weekend away.
When you want to get away from the noise of the City. It's quiet, secluded and you will get personal attention. One of the staff members, Johannes, made us feel at home from our arrival to departute.
I couldn't reach them on the phone. Even the number listed on Facebook says it doesn't exist and the other number goes straight to voicemail. If that's the service just trying to get hold of them, I wouldn't want to know what it's like at the actual lodge.
It's not as good as it appears on picture. It's a quiet getaway place. The stuff can be a bit chicky especially room service
