This is my go to Medical Practice. I hust love Dr Melanie Sebastian. She really cares for her patients, treats them with love, empathy and dignity. She is such a friendly lady, a breath of fresh air
Sick and tired of the unprofessional reception staff, the woman working today 1 October 2022 just defended not answering the phone by saying "Who is supposed to answer the phone?" Clearly no one explained her own job to her. So I drove all the way here, just to find out that my primary doctor is NOT working today. If you had answered the phone, I would not have had to waste my petrol. And just because they claim to be with Discovery medical aid, does not mean they are. They are not on discovery, but will say they are.
Good medical centre, two GP's all the time, Dentist, Psychologist, Optometrist and X ray services
Dr Sebastian was very rude and condescending in the manner she spoke to me after I disagreed with her about a certain medical procedure. She called my opinion ridiculous and laughed sarcastically without fully considering and responding to the concerns I raised. I know a few people who have expressed complaints about the way she speaks to people but I have given her the benefit of the doubt until I had my own poor experience with her. I absolutely would NOT recommend her services if you appreciate being spoken to politely and respectfully.
I commend the services provided by Dr. Sebastian however she doesn't follow through when she has to provide feedback of the blood test results. This has happened twice since last year Sept/Oct. I have phoned, sent WhatsApp messages and SMSs as guided by the admin staff members without much response. I wouldn't be surprised if we are asked to come in and see the Dr. for the 3rd time and get charged for not receiving a full result of the blood samples taken. Also, the lady taking the blood samples is not quite professional, she doesn't attend to any patients from 4:45pm, she also takes her personal calls whilst attending to the patients. If you need medical attention and medication, you'll receive the assistance required but if you need investigations done, I would suggest you visit other Drs.
Excellent doctor's. Most medical support services under one roof.
