R.K Khans hospital

There are utterly no words in the English language that can describe how insanely horrible this hospital is. I cannot begin to understand why one would go into the medical field if one has zero desire to assist ill patients. I sat for an entire Saturday trying to get assistance for my Dad. During the long wait I saw such disturbing things. Elderly patients are being treated like dirt. Children are being overlooked. The nurses are looking at genuinely sick people as if they are the bane of their existence. Most of these doctors are incompetent. You wont see one medical staff member even smile at a patient to reassure them that they're in good hands. To add insult to injury, the cleaners, porters and security guards act as if their expertise is the back-bone of that establishment. They are crass and unforgivably rude. What these people need to understand is that each and every person will stand before Jesus one day and answer for all they have done on this earth. I pray that God has mercy on your souls.

I have had terrible service from RK but I award the five star rating for Sister Rosemary. Sister Rosemary is understanding and compassionate and treats patients and visitors with respect and dignity. She is at the medical section E2 at Clairwood. An absolute pleasure dealing with dedicated staff like Sister Rosemary. 100% +++ under such difficult conditions.

The most traumatic experience ever. This hospital forced my partner to give birth alone. She was begging and screaming for help the entire time. Myself, friends and family were calling continuously trying to get updates because they CONFISCATED her phone. We were all prepared to come and be with her and every time we asked for updates they lied and said she was fine and nothing was happening. They forced this innocent woman to suffer alone with no contact to her family. She begged for her cellphone and I begged for her to get it back every time i called for updates. They told us she had it back. They kept it from her so she couldn't update us with the truth. Her treatment there has been utterly malicious and disgusting. They have done everything they can to make her feel uncomfortable. I am genuinely in shock what has happened. This hospital needs to really be investigated. The staff are incompetent and nobody knows what's going on.. The worst thing is they are happy to let their patients suffer. Treated like prisoners by medical professionals. This is utterly disgusting and I'm genuinely ashamed that this is the hospital that my child was born in.

I would like to say a very BIG THANK YOU to the following:DR NKIBINDE,DR HANEEF from SOPD and also a very BIG THANK YOU to the surgeon's in theater who did an amazing job on the my removel of my gallbladder surgery they were very kind and absolutely caring and not forgetting the ward D1 THANK YOU to the "BLACK TEAM" of doctors and thank you to the DAY SHIFT STAFF url were amazing i really appreciate everything..

Er did not give any attention to my step father n we have been waiting for half an hour and it is a red flag emergency a receptionist had seen my step parents enter and walked away without giving any help or information as to how long it will be for them to be taken care of this is unacceptable for an Er

Do not answer phones, denies that a patient was admitted when ambulance service has proof he was admitted.

Worst hospital I've ever encountered, filthy smeels horrible. I don't have knowledge of what they are ding repeatedly hurt me to the point were I just left cause I could not take the pain anymore. Was so painful to get a drip and it just fell out. There was a old man his head was hanging down the bed drip on the floor half naked and it was clear I wasn't breathing anymore and was left just like that

hospital is unhygienic nurses and Dr's don't care about the patients old people go there for help they can't afford medical aid. Guards act like they own the hospital and give you such a hard time it's pathetic. My dad went for a toe injury stayed 2 days in waiting area for a bed. No treatment. went up to the ward and still no help Dr's didn't treat him for his toe it got worse we had to take him out of the hospital and make other arrangements for treatment for him which we couldn't afford but had to save our fathers leg. Someone needs to seriously look into this hospital. Other hospitals are not like this. They don't help u, u just get worse we were lucky we cud take our dad out it sad 4 those who can't afford treatment

Sister Suzy, Nurse khatha and Jayshree... I thank you so much for delivering my baby and working so tirelessly in the dark and saving all the the other 2 babies I'm sure their parents are greatful such heroes deserve to be celebrated... Very disappointed with this hospital one of the doctor wrote wrong information about my status on the letter to Albert luthuli hospital that i am taking ARV's he made things harder before the operation they to do blood test twice in one day he made my name dirty and i have been tested in 4 private doctors while i was waiting for the call from Albert Luthuli hospital my result came back negative from inkosi Albert Luthuli center hospital with their help done the operation i am 100 percent riding my bicycle again like nothing happen to my hip many thanks to Inkosi Albert Luthuli center hospital from BD Mfenguza
