Clairwood Hospital

I took my wife there as scheduled on her maternity card and was told after waiting for 2 hours that they did not attend to patients with her condition after reading the card and told us to go to King Edward hospital without giving us any transfer letter. When we arrived at King Edward hospital, after waiting for a further 2 hours they sent us to Lamontville clinic and said they should have given us a letter . Clairwood should have sent us there in the beginning. This hospital does not even qualify to be called a hospital neither does it even qualify to be a clinic if they have such ignorant employees who do not care about patients.

I want to commend that their gateway clinic is the best because the first time I went there last year September I didn't have any referral letter from my clinic in the Eastern Cape Cape Gqeberha but I was treated bcos I'm having a chronic condition and up until now I'm still attending the clinic as I'm here now in Durban

I want to commend everyone at Clairwood hospital and clinic, My sister and I had our Covid Vaccine there yesterday 21.05.21. From the security,nursing staff to the cleaners everyone was absolutely amazingly. They were very efficient, organized and place was spotless. A big thank you to everyone God Bless

I'm totally disappointed with the hospital my husband is there lying with nobody assisting him. I needed a change of linen and they don't have they expected me to let him sleep in soiled bedding. Nursing is now for money not the patients best interest. Totally sad

Hi i have been trying to call the hospital and wards yet numerous tries there has been no answer . Terrible service

My experience with hospitals and nurses is not so pleasant but since I got admitted here at clarewood hospital I have experienced nothing but excellence.From the nurses to the kitchen staff and the cleaners aswell they have shown nothing less then professionalism... Thank u to the staff of ward 7A and ward 1A And to the management this place is kept clean at all times..

Toilets don't work. Toilet paper is in short supply. Nurse/patient ratios very poor. So much for rehabilitation and convalescence. The place people are sent in order to keep them in the system when there is nowhere else for them to go. Not a hospital at all!

Well done to everyone for excellent service delivery on 24 June . Very efficient and organized. We were done within 90 minutes.

Excellent covid vaccination set up...care ..efficient. .know exactly what they doing...definitely 5 star and more.. Thank u staff
