Wentworth Hospital KZN

.... They do not deserve any ratings ... Yesterday I took my gran in as she had a fall and literally broke her arm,we sat from 12pm till 10pm then only did she get assistance. My gran, 83years, was in so much pain, but not one nurse assisted her, they were busy eating chips while these poor old patients suffer in pain. Just imagine your job is to protect and save lives, but I saw how incompetent these people are.

I would like to share a big appreciation from the Nurse, Sister Nurse and Doctors . They're doing a good satisfying job they are so friendly keep up the good job we really appreciate your work.I was attending Wentworth form 2022 until i give birth on 2023 they service i reserved was amazing. Thank you.

Dedicated staff but facility needs upgrade and renovations.

It's a Public Hospital & I had to adjust my expectations accordingly. Sometimes you enjoy good service and sometimes it becomes a complete opposite. I've learnt to accept that.

When must you phone for the phone to get answered? When you call and use option 2, the phone don't get answered even if you try several times a day. This is unacceptable. If I could I would have given a nil star review.

Very disorganized. U get shunted from on person to the next. Signage is out dated or lack of. This wastes everyone's time. Why is there no information desk?

Worst hospital I've come across. I have been here last month for maternity check up. I was really ill due to my pregnancy and I asked 2 nurses for help on what to do next as it was my first time visiting this hospital. One nurse was on her phone and didnt even help me and the other one just started shouting at me. I left the hospital in tears and I will never go back there. It's sad how you get treated, when the staff is suppose to help you but they rather throw their weight around which is just pathetic.

Worst experience ever was there on Monday the Labour ward staff were so harsh when you're crying because of pains they yell at you tell you to stop crying it's not a room for noise it's a room of delivery but the Indian lady that working there is so kind big thumbs to that lady and then there's theatre guys who were working on on Monday as well around 13:00 wow those guys are super sweet all of them are so kind they know their job they do exactly what's they're getting paid to do and the Recovery Room staff are so sweet as well and then at C1 wow the night shift and morning shift are super friendly and kind except for the team that was working Wednesday night shift it's was a disaster they don't work at all they sit down and chat the whole night they didn't do anything kept on calling us when they wanted to give us tables imagine walking with a Operations they really traumatized me

Absolutely rude and lack of communication from the medical staff, the nurses have no way of speaking to patients family members or communicate an update of what is going on with the patients especially if the patients in the emergency is here from early in the morning. Very unprofessional understandable about covid regulations but they have absolutely no professionalism or compassion when dealing with people i have been here in the past with my parents and the previous nursing staff where very professional and they communicate very well where as no its ridiculous how they treat the patients and their families, this review is based on the emergency staff on the 21 November 2021. Absolutely shocked at the audacity yet we pay taxes to pay their wages.

Was attending antenatal clinic since earlier this year, excellent service from staff. Then recently gave birth there and was well taken care of with my baby. I totally recommend to any pregnant lady. Even the pharmacy staff is very efficient, even the security guards are very helpful.
