I am absolutely disgusted at how the lady who answers the emergency number calls at the Italian Embassy was SO RUDE TO ME!!!! Is it not an emergency when you have emailed to renew your passport 4 times and you're leaving for Italy in 10 days' time and NOBODY has responded to your emails. TO ME THIS IS AN EMERGENCY otherwise why doesn't their website stipulate what they regard as emergencies. She wouldn't even give me a chance to talk and explain. She spoke to me as if I was a lower-class citizen.
