Booked a holiday to Mauritius through Andgo. The holiday package was great and the value for money was great too - couldnt have gotten it cheaper by booking directly with the resort we chose. The only thing you need to watch out for is the link to the exchange rates. The travel agent will not remind you when payments are due, so if you do not keep an eye on exchange rates, they charge you shortfalls due to fluctuation according to the dates you make payments. Also make sure you ask which currency it is linked to. I had to pay in an extra R2300 due to a minor fluctuation in the Mauritian rupee the travel agent was not very clued up about this portion - they are just eager to send you an invoice. I was under the impression my package was linked to the USD. If you have the money to pay for the full package, it may be beneficial to do so rather than getting unpleasant surprises when paying balances. They will not warn you about this. Perhaps you can benefit from a deal by paying when the currency you are paying in costs the least amounts of Rands.

Enquired about an advertised Mauritius holiday for April 2022.. no response from Andgo Travel, in spite of calling them and being assured my request was receiving attention. My advice, don’t deal with these useless travel company, may as well ask my wall about Mauritius..
