Recommended hike in Cape Town. The hike is very steep and challenging but you won’t regret is when you see the view at the top. Good luck!
Coming to Cape Town and not climbing Lion's Head would be a sin. The climb is worth it with an incredible view over the city. Early sunrise or late sunset climbs are special.
I went for an hour hike, the view from up there is breathtaking! Can't wait to go back again!

Moderate hike that takes less than two hours to the top. Amazing view of the city, table mountain, and the ocean.
What a fun hike. Full of switch backs, bouldering and some climbing holds in the rocks to help get you to the top. Wonderful views of both Table Mountain as well as Cape Town below. Would for sure do again to see this spectacular view during different times of the day and at night.
An easy hike before sunrise to make yourself feel amazingly powerful and the smallest part op the universe at the same time. Experiencing the sun come up over Cape-Town is magical and makes the early waking up, more than worth it. Make sure you’re at the start of the signal hill trail about an hour and a half before sunrise.
A short but and easy track of an hour walking per side, the view is speechless and it gives you a circle watch over Cape Town. Much recommended in the sunset.
