I had to have a one day procedure in theater. The hospital was just awesome. From setting up the pre-authorization and the admission right through to discharge. Every member of staff was friendly and reassuring and made sure that I was comfortable at all times. Everything was organized and ran like clockwork. The facilities are in excellent condition and I felt confident that I was getting the best possible treatment. Often people complain about hospital food but the meal I had was delicious. I will definitely recommend this hospital to any of my friends and family!
Excellent recent experience. I used to use this hospital until I moved to Panorama. I have had nothing but terrible experiences with Panorama Hospital so I choose to travel to Gardens Mediclinic instead. From the check in to check out, first class. This place runs like a Swiss Watch...Panorama runs like a car with 2 flat tyres !
So impressed with the staff here. Incredible doctors and nurses who always check up on you and make you feel comfortable. Clean, quick and easy procedures.
I've been to soo many hospitals they're simply Amazing!!! 5-Star Yes, they do make mistakes here & there. E.g. Walk-in might not get the best experience when there are too many patients. They're only human, they aren't robots. I've been there +9 times now & definitely recommend them to anyone else. To avoid disappointments try to go there early morning & you'll be the first in line for their services.

Visited Psychologist Ilse J Pauw, I pour my soul out to this lady and she looks at me with a lot of oohs and aahs and has a nerve to charges me R1135,60, zero empathy I was like are you for real. I might has well have opened up to my dog and would've gotten some kind of reaction. How beyond pathetic a so called psychologist looks at me with no emotion, at the end of day the sad truth about psychiatrists and psychologists are that they not interested in you as a patient its about taking your hard earned money.The receptionists didn't even greet got treated like trash.Would highly not recommend.
Absolutely appalling service from the Maternity ward! The nurses are rude, unprofessional and lack patient care. The doctors take very little time to see you and instructs the nurses to keep you heavily medicated. You'll have the worst care if giving birth over a weekend and you'll be non existent to staff and doctors. This hospital is so severely underrun and understaffed, so please consider alternative hospitals for mom and baby.
Best hospital experience ever bar none , the United States included. The level of care provided by Doctors and their staff at this facility was first rate. In comparison to the average US hospital emergency room care, attention to care was immediate, cost effective, and compassionate. I hope i never have to go back to the hospital if ever I visit Cape Town, but I can rest assured that I will be provided great care. Big thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff.
It's a pity that this hospital with such a good reputation has no wheelchairs available at both general and emergency entrances two days in a row.. 340ml coke costs R25. Really?
Best hospital I’ve had to take myself to multiple times. I find it incredibly strange that some people have given 1 star with such distasteful reviews. Over the years I’ve been here 4 times and have had a very similar experience: Staff are friendly, compassionate and incredibly professional - they take their time to really find the route cause of an issue and treat it accordingly. I had excruciating pain in my abdomen at 4am and after bloods and a CT scan confirmed appendicitis it was removed by 9am. I found this particular stay oddly peaceful!
