The hotel is honestly very beautiful. Besides that, front desk staff isn't nice. There's lots of room for improvement. Stayed there for 10 night consecutively and my bedding was never changed. Their breakfast is very nice but their baked goodies were seldom fresh. Other than that, it's a very beautiful Hotel, very reasonably priced and at the heart of most of the beautiful attractions in Cape Town.
Great location, very safe, friendly staff. We had a view on the table mountain! Gym had no climate control, so we sweat a lot haha. Pool at the top was cleaner than other reviews described. Very calm there with a great view. Music at dinner was superb.
Nice hotel. Has become a home away from home for me as I was using it fir the third time. I like the English and the Royal styles it emulates. Staff is friendly, very clean. Very affordable as well. Food & drinks: I like the butcher block. Their sizzling steaks. I had trio: combination of rump, sirloin and rib-eye. My gash!!!
A great place to have any event. Lara, Natasha and their team were exceptional. The entire staff welcomed us and our guests with open arms, we still get compliments about what a great venue it was.
One star is one star too many. We checked in for a 4 night stay but we are leaving after one night and forfeiting the money we paid for the other 3 nights, better off flying home early. Firstly the hotel allowed someone to park us in in the paid underground parking. They literally park cars three deep and don't have keys to move cars. Took ages to get our car out. Secondly we were woken up by external noises at 430am. The aircon was loud enough to wake the dead when operational and every time throughout the night three times there was load shedding it would reset and need to be manually turned back on which would wake our 15 month old baby. Room had blinds that let in the sunlight from sunrise, and the curtains are decorative and not functional. The room keys needed to be replaced 3 times in one day, constantly not working meaning we needed to go up and down to reception. The hotel elevators service in the hotel is also not the greatest.
Always excellent service from these guys. Easy check in process and always good vibes. Rooms could do with an upgrade to their tvs - perhaps just a music channel that's not the hotel channel. Also parking could be a bit cheaper.
Great service! Great staff! Best rooms! The only let down was the room cards, I had to reset ours twice. But I'll still stay here in the future Rooms: 4/5
I wouldn’t recommend at all. The staff very rude you feel unwelcome and the rooms are dark , the breakfast bad and they charge a huge amount of money for every thing. The cleaning staff are annoying and many disadvantages. The opposite of this hotel Hayatt regency five star hotel with similar amount better to stay there. Bad hotel
On arrival were upgraded from a supreme double room to a loft suite right by the pool. We appreciated the view and the privacy. Was just what we neededRooms: 4/5
Staff was unfriendly and unaccommodating/unhelpful. The carpets in the room made my sinuses act up. The Hotel felt more 1 star than 4 star. The Barman is very friendly and helpful though.Rooms: 2/5
