The venue is absolutely lovely, with a prayer facility, clean toilets and the restaurant seating area is spacious. The staff are all very warm and welcoming. The best part is their food and service, which was amazing. As a family of 12 we ordered starters, mixed platters and various other dishes including their desserts and drinks and I must say overall it was fantastic hence I highly recommend Syriana. Thank you to the staff and management for a lovely experience.

great Syrian-styled food, good service, nice view and atmosphere. recomended
Terrible Experience , Waitors are rude and miserable. Went in a group of 18 and were told we must all have meals and drinks. even tho the restaurant was completely empty. Waitor even approached us and said we cheap because we only came for deserts and hookah. Would highly recommend Damascus restruant , the food is way better and waiters are nice.
We were in a group and it was an extremely long day. We just had supper and decided to go for some Turkish tea. We stopped at Syriana and the waitress was extremely rude. She told us there’s load shedding in 30mins so she can’t serve us. I told her, we’ll be done in 30mins and it’s just tea and some hookah. When we sat down, there were 2 people in our group that didn’t want to have tea, they just came to chill and give us company and smoke hookah. We were informed by the waitress that we cannot just order tea, we need to order food if we want hookah we would have paid for the hookah. People still really wanted tea so we said okay leave the hookah, just give us the tea. She then informed us since there are 2 people not having anything, she can’t serve us and that everyone has to order something. The 2 people then said okay they will have bottled water each and the waitress refused and said they have to order a proper drink. This rule is so ridiculous. It’s weird that a restaurant would rather lose the customers over 2 people not wanting anything. We all just got up and left because it was insinuated that the 2 people would not be allowed to sit and would have to leave if they didn’t order.
The meal was good, however, if you're not a smoker, then it can be a bit unpleasant. The smoking area and non smoking area is divided by half a wall. If you don't mind smoke wafting over, then great .Food: 4/5
Kebabs were not cooked properly, i expected much better food. It was as if the kebabs were bought at a butcher and i made it at home.
The best Syrian food in cape town
First time trying syrian food. The food was soo good I will highly recommend them if you want to try a middle eastern dish. Thank you for the good service.Food: 5/5
Beautiful surrounding and absolutely stunning service from Esther and great food...the Kunafa was excuisite ...highly recommend.Food: 5/5
