Where do I even start oh my god At first glance the place looks beautiful for the outside but wait until you walk in to the rooms, firstly we were welcomed by loadshedding the place doesn't have backup generator or battery lights. Walked into the to be specific room 2, the door cabinets were skew, bathroom doors skew, the down lights imon the ceiling were about to come out especially in the bathroom, the curtain by the sliding door was susper dirty, paid for breakfast only to be told there's no breakfast, struggled for 2 hours to get a key for my room, to top it all the staff is horrible, one is dabbling as a security and receptionist. Don't be fooled by the picture on their profile. If you're someone travels alot experiencing such was a nightmare.

Most probably the worst experience I have ever had at a guesthouse. Firstly, we found rats in multiple rooms as well as around the property. In my room in particular, I found rat poo underneath my pillow. No rat poison was provided and they did nothing but remove the sheets from my bed. Secondly, there were cockroaches in all the rooms. Definitely an infestation problem that was not dealt with. Lastly, the kitchen is just disgusting. The stove and stove switch were covered in grease and grime. The kitchen also had a terrible smell when I entered it. Our group was completely freaked out the entire stay. Definitely wouldn’t go there again.

Terrible my booking was confirmed only for my parents only to get there to be told they are fully booked and there was no space in the middle of the night

I mean, the place isn't too shabby. Fantastic pricing. My sheets were smelly There is just something off about the energy of the place. This is definitely a last resort type of situation. At least the water was was hot though.Rooms: 2/5

Horrible service from the staff. Our bed sheets were dirty. We didn't have a sink in our room. We had holes in our roof. The kitchen window was broken so we couldn't close it. We payed for breakfast but received nothing because the person who makes the food wasn't there apparently. Overall bad experience I'd never go here again.Rooms: 1/5

STAY AWAY! This is a kidnapping zone. No CCTV cameras, no security response in this place. I was held hostage in the place for a whole night by thugs who booked the place and took my car in their watch. STAY AWAY!

Let me start by saying we are grateful that the venue allowed late check-in as we had an all-day event. At first glance, Angel Guesthouse is beautiful. The garden is well kept and the features are modern and classy. Enter our room - Bed is neat and well made, lights work - looks like a neat space. Wait, upon closer inspection, is that a carved out hole over the plug outlet in the headboard? Have a look around as we just want to get cleaned up and get some rest from a long day... oh there are no towels, no soap and 1 roll of toilet paper cheap 1 ply. We asked the security guard for fresh towels... 30minutes later he's helping other people settle in and we still don't have towels. Eventually 2 towels are brought to us - a brown and white one that look like those ones I use to mop up water mess I made on the floor! The white towel was stained, still damp and had hair from previous guests on it. Gross! I make my way to the bathroom to wash my hands and am greeted by an obnoxiously tall basin, which, when I open the mixer tap, the water comes shooting out all over the counter, the floor and me! Just awful! The shower - floods when you use it. Plugs - no adaptors for 2-pin plugs. Cigarette burns in the pillow cases. Flimsy locks on sliding doors. Bathroom window covering is peeling off people can see through if blind is not down. No hand soap, no dish soap. Guests are noisy in the evenings. The place looks unfinished and neglected . Good-ish things - The bed was clean, thankfully. Water was warm. Working fridge. There was something resembling coffee in the 1 cabinet, but no spoons available we stirred with a knife. We will not be back. It's a pity, because this place has potential.
