The setting was superb, although not the traditional expansive beaches edged by crystal clear waters etc etc. What an absolute delight to be served as well as we were by the local population. And this resort is only rated a 2 star! Fiji time "No hurry, no worry" was strickly adhered to and I loved it. Excellent transit and taxi service virtually all the time.
Great service and even better food. Go for a swim before hand at Glen Cairn tidal pool and then have a great breakfast afterwards.
Incredible selection of collectables. The owner Kevin has really amazed a superb collection. Should be a museum and we should pay to view it as it is so complete. Absolutely love it. Parking across the road at the station or large parking space 2 min walk away.
What a find. If you like to browse and find old and interesting items this is the place to go.
There are loads of top quality collectables here. I f you are a collector or want to add some character to your home or business then this is a great place to visit. You may need to exercise some self discipline as there is so much awesome stuff that temptation is going to come your way for sure. Make the time to get here and support local businesses.
Very well stocked with a variety of interesting items and well organised. Owner knowledgable and friendly. Pink Floyd in the background... Parking across the road next to station.
Mad variety and selection. Literally everything. Great coffee and cake selection. Regular visits worthwhile.
Oh my giddy aunt, I am overwhelmed with pleasure at this gorgeous gorgeously nostalgic space I just walked in. Directly opposite Muizenberg station you will find Antiques at Collectables Cafe, Muizenberg, Western Cape and WHAT A WOWZER of a space. From the antique seating for cake and coffee/tea/milkshake to light sandwich lunches and the gorgeously exquisite views of the trains passing and the surfers. I was invigorated from the moment I walked in. Down to the barista/chef who served me the divine tasting rooibos cappuccino with honey, I LOVE IT and hope you will put it on your trip to the beach. #gratitudejournal
Nice environment to just browse and look for that one special item. Shop is very cluttered and there seems no real ligic in the shop. Goods seemed to be quite expensive, but then again of these items are collectable.
