Avara Wellness Spa

Been frequenting this spa for on and off a few years. The massage was excellent. The heated pool and jacuzzi divine. I noted that the gowns are tiny, I prefer the old white ones. The white gowns are more appropriate for a spa than the new velvety bedroom ones. Also there was no shampoo,conditioner or hand cream in the bathroom. Also no toilet paper in the bathroom. The juice given was very sweet and synthetic.

Sadly chose Avara to treat my friend for her birthday. It was the worst spa experience, and nothing close to how they present themselves on social media. No proper welcome, nor any introduction or explanation of how things work and what we should expect. The state of the room is shocking - dirty floor and windows, curtains not hanging properly, brooms hidden in plain sight and wires all tangled in the one corner. Despite the state of the room, we decided we'd give it a try, but in hindsight I wish I'd asked for my money back and left immediately I'd unfortunately paid beforehand. The music randomly cuts out all the time - sometimes for minutes on end - which is disruptive. And the massage bed squeaks loudly...to the point that I found it difficult to focus on anything else. I asked twice if something could be done to minimize the squeaking, but the therapist's response was "it's the pressure". There's also a clock in the room that you can hear ticking away the entire time. There's no restroom, nor did anyone explain what the protocol is should one need to go to the restroom - it's a separate part of the building, so you either need to go in your gown it was freezing cold or get dressed mid spa day; either way, it's completely impractical. On arrival, we were given forms to complete, with the option to add on treatments. I selected an additional treatment, but the therapist didn't even bring it up, and I could've asked but by the end of our experience I didnt want to, I just wanted to be done. I hope this review saves someone the disappointment and frustration we unfortunately experienced.

Excellent service at the Avara spa. We had a bachelorette day spa treatment that included a full body massage, indian head massage, and acces to all facilities. Staff is extremely professional and the space is tranquil and relaxing. We received a welcoming chai tea. They provide you with robes note: one size fits all and changing rooms. The sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and heated pool were lovely.. Although, we would've loved for the water to be hotter.. It was kind of luke warm. Jacuzzi's bubbles and jets need to be started by getting out of the jacuzzi and pressing a button, every 5 minutes. This was a bit frustrating, but understandable since the residents of knightsbridge also have access to those facilities. Overall, an extremely great value for money and quite a relaxing experience. I bought the me-time package 02-01-2023 and it was a very pleasant experience along with usage of the pool, steam room and sauna facilities except for the jacuzzi which was dirty. No towels given, you have to bring your own and no soaps or any toiletries in the bathroom which was promised in the package? So bring your own as well. You can't lock the toilet in the changing room as theres no key. Lastly there was a hairdryer left in the changing room but it was not working. Avara- Century city

The spa is clean and comfortable. I got a massage, for back, neck and shoulder . Attendants were corteous, professional and thorough. I would go back for a full body massage. I really enjoyed it

What a lovely experience, my first time there for a 30 min back, neck and shoulder massage but it was just heavenly. Therapist was fabulous!

I visisted the Century City Spa on Monday 8 August for a CBD Massage. The welcome was warm and kind, the facilities and spa is beautiful and oh so tranquil. The massage was fantastic, felt super relaxed and lazy afterwards. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Always so welcoming and accommodating. I have been to many Spa’s and treatments in CPT and they have been the best. I can even compare them to places like THE ONE AND ONLY and say the treatments here are much better. The consistency of the treatments is why I continue to come back and the friendly welcoming faces. Melissa was the best yet!
