Absolutely shocking service! Collection arranged 36 hours before the 4pm appointment today. At 16-30pm today and after being on hold for 17mins told by the branch "sorry no drivers'..... not even the decency cal ahead of the time to let me know. How long would I have waited there for them if I had not called them.....shockingly disrespectful!! Rental agreement no. 870880552
Returned the car from JB. Insurance amount doubled. The manager told me he will contact JB office and send me an email, after we discussed 15 minutes without any help from his side. Instead they just booked the double amount. can not recommend Avis in south africa.
Mr Mophelo and lady very helpful but the man who check for scratches and problems very arrogant didn't even greet me went straight to find problems.After I told him I took pictures of the of collection so that I can have proof .Disgusted in that man just for me not to get my deposit back.

Biggest scam they charge you let you pay then explain the small details where they eventually just charge you more for the most ridiculous things ... corporate nonsense at the highest level
Friendly staff, just not happy that I got a car was told that petrol is full, also saw all bars with light. I drove less than 5 kilos, 1 bar was gone meaning that car was not full. I phoned them, they apologized and promised to pay back, will see what happens when I return their car.

They give us a car withought mats on the floor. When we bring the car at the last day they told us that it is dirty because it had some sand on the floor. And they told us that they had to charge us 400rand to clean it... We took the car and cleaned it in a gas station down the street with 30rand... The car was not so dirty. It just had sand on the floor from our shoes.. they just want to give the car to the next customer withought them doing any cleaning themselves.. also if the car had mats we could just get those out, shake them, and get the sand out... They give cars with no mats so they can tell you later that it is dirty! Better go and book a car from the local car rentals near the area.. cheaper and better customer service.
Convenient as rental agencies go.
