Avis Newcastle

This is the first time I rented from this office. The staff were friendly and the renting process was without problems. I was pleased that the hand over inspection was conducted professionally and damaged areas were pointed out to me.

Couldn't be assisted. I was looking for two Ford Rangers to use on a wedding day in October 2021 but could not be assisted because they said minimum rental period is over 5 days.

I am very upset and angry at the dishonesty of one of the employees in Avis Newcastle namely Lungile Mgabi. I made an enquiry over the phone and I was assisted by her. There was nothing confirmed she asked for my card number and advised that if my balance is below R8500 it would not be approved. I knocked off after 17h00 from resulting in me not being able to go and make a confirmation and to "Rent" the car but yet money was deducted from my account. This is fraud and I demand a refund! If not I will take it the legal route. I did not sign anywhere and I was never advised about a "Cancellation fee"

Good service, very warm staff

Rentals are expensive but the friendly service I got makes up for it. Wonderful group of people who will go to the extremes to assist with any quarry
